Good but need more improvement we cannot check anything online before arival like transportation few hotel open for online booking language problems no local guide we get easily and so many things .but because of some good people u can understand otherwise difficult .
Lovely hotel! Superb location, walking distance to Tahrir yet distant enough to be quiet at night. The staff are just ON TOP OF IT ALL! Need a sim-card? They'll hook you up. Need advice on a local shawarma with specific requests? They know it all. In need of info before travelling (domestic and international)? They're like the local Wikipedia. I've honestly never felt such trust for any hotel staff anywhere else. Thank you for making my visit MAGICAL!
An excellent mid-range hotel. The room and bathroom are clean, and if you wish, you can request a room cleaning service every day. Really great breakfast included in the price.
The manager can arrange airport transfers or find a driver for full day trips to Babylon, Karbala, anywhere you want at a very reasonable price. Good and quiet location.
Recommended for travelers who are not looking for the cheapest hotels.

This will be my go-to as far as hotels in Baghdad go. The pricing is better than others. Beware of other hotels that have formidable lobbies but mediocre (or worse rooms). Shaheen Hotel did not disappoint.

just wanted to know how it was rated as 4 stars. the reality this hotel below one star. old furniture if there is furniture, bath room has cracked tile, carpet on the room and pathways are popping up and dirty and more none professional issues.
Security seems to be important in Baghdad and the hotel take care for this. It is a good hotel with a very impressive entrance. The room is not the best but good enough. Very good breakfast and good restaurants inside the hotel.
