The staff made this stay utterly amazing. I was so impressed with the service, they were friendly, helpful, and completely professional while being warm. They even gave us a thoughtful going away gift that was completely unexpected!
My partner and I ended up getting sick during our stay (completely unrelated to the hotel), so we ended up extending our stay to a week. The staff nursed us back to health, even creating specially mixed teas for our throats when they noticed us coughing.
There’s one main restaurant, but the food in the buffet changed often and all of the food was washed with the Oberoi’s own filtered water so we didn’t feel concerned even to eat a fresh salad. The place is also incredibly clean, like they even power wash the ground around the pool! The grounds were extensive and you can get around on their golf carts or bike rentals, but we went to the City Palace as well and it didn’t feel far away from everything. I’ve stayed in Mandarin Orientals, Fairmonts, etc. around the world and it felt like you were yet another guest, but here it felt like a second home.
12/10 would definitely recommend!

Everybody that comes to Udaipur should book this hotel. the staff were incredibly helpful and really nice. They helped us hire a Tuk Tuk for the entire time we were there and it was just so easy to contact the driver whenever we wanted to go somewhere and know that we were getting a fair price. The air conditioning unit in the room was very powerful and made it very comfortable to sleep in considering we were there in peak summer. Bedrooms were incredibly beautiful, authentic and traditional feel. The bed was very comfortable, and the location was right in the center of the old city with a view of the lake as well as being close to the city Palace. Is there anything I didn’t like?

The staff's attention to detail was exceptional. Our Butler, Kristen, ensured that we took part in the dancing show and also the bracelet making exhibition. Breakfast was lovely, such good food and coffee, and an attentive staff. I am disabled, the whole staff was very kind and helpful.

A truly lovely city without the chaos of Jaipur or Delhi. It felt like an oasis. The city centre is very exciting - and attractive. The sunset boat ride is a must, also the puppet show at the museum, and the folk dancing at the city palace.
Perfect hotel option for family as well as couples.. super super cooperative staff.. we booked online non lake view... But they upgraded our room to Lake view that too last minute.. (of course with extra charges 😜).. we have checked out on check out time but we have late departure from udaipur. So they also helped us with luggage keeping.. and staff helped us after even check out.. breakfast were also decent.. picturesque.. one can get alot of pictures here . Overall great experience..
Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We travelled with two six year olds and lots of luggage and despite the stairs up to the elevator this was one of the nicest places we stayed in the four weeks we were in rajasthan

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, safe with affordable price and the owner was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 7am. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus

The property is gorgeous and well situated. The lake facing rooms are breathtaking, the private balconies in the rooms give you your private space to admire the beauty of Udaipur. The staff is really supportive and willing to go the extra mile to help. The location of this place is perfect , you can view and walk to almost all the main attractions like city palace, Bagore ki haveli, from their hotel rooms and rooftop.

Hotel is located in one of the best locations of Udaipur and have a heritage look to it. The rooms are very cosy and comfortable. We just stayed here for one night and it was a memorable one. Hotel staff is very well trained and know Udaipur really well. I think they have recently renovated the space as few common areas including restaurant. Good option to stay in the city centre.
I went for a business trip to Udaipur and wanted to explore Old City and found this hidden gem just in front of Jagdish ji temple and got a temple and palace view from my room, Room was comfortable and in the heritage look.
They have a pure veg restaurant which offered me authentic local rajasthani cuisine.

The hotel is spotlessly clean and in the ideal location to explore Udaipur. You can even see the City Palace nearby from the rooftop restaurant; it's very close by. The view from the restaurant is also very beautiful for sunset, and the restaurant has a good menu for all meals of the day.
