The bed was comfortable and room well decorated and modern. Good hot water and water pressure in the shower. We had dinner and the food was very good. The bar staff clearly wanted to deliver good service (but were hindered by inadequate training and poor management).

Nothing. We were initially told we couldn’t stay cos we we foreigners.
Unfortunately, we kicked up a fuss as it was dark when we got there and didn’t fancy finding an alternative.
When we were shown the room it was a disgrace. Filthy pillows, one torn towel and we didn’t hang around to inspect further.

Could nt have expected more. Our retreat was made extremely delightful by the staff's flawless service and friendly behaviour.
I had an unusual experience at this hotel. Firstly, it's located off the main road, and what struck me as strange was that the hotel didn't have a proper entrance; they used a shutter instead. The caretaker's behavior also raised suspicions. He seemed to stare at my wife in an uncomfortable way. Given that it was 1 a.m., I didn't have many other options, which made the situation even less desirable. Moreover, the hotel lacked parking space.
I strongly advise against staying here with your wife or girlfriend. To add to the odd experience, they insisted on receiving my payment for the night immediately, even though I planned to check out in the morning. At checkout, another person approached me, asking for additional money. I initially refused, but they pressured me into paying more.
The room wasn't properly cleaned, and the bathroom was both dirty and in poor condition. Despite this, the hotel somehow managed to achieve a 7.5 rating on the Booking.com property list. This experience has left me disappointed in Booking.com. My recommendation is not to rely on other reviews, especially for this particular hotel.
