We had a lovely stay at Golden Fort resort in Jaisalmer, the service was excellent - the staff were always ready to help with whatever we needed. We stayed in one of the tents - it was spacious and had an en-suite bathroom with hot water. In the evening we enjoyed a show - musicians and dancers and a good buffet meal. Overall we would recommend staying here.

To be honest I thought it would be a continuous desert beyond Jaisalmer before our visit there. Know that the dunes are formed at certain places only. But they are obviously out of the world. One has to visit it once.

If you want to visit proper desert with Sandunes then Sam is the place. Gets a bit crowded during winter season but it's ideal climate to visit Jaisalmer. You can do Jeep Safari for sunset and sunrise. Same with camel safari. Desert bike and parasailing also available. If you are traveling in winter grab some warm clothes as it gets really cold in the mornings and evenings especially due to the winds. there are tons of camps and most of them offer cultural program. There are also lots of restuarants around and personal vehicle can be really helpful.

Sam sand dunes are a must to experience when travelling Rajasthan and Jaisalmer. You can feel what's the meaning of coming back to the simple reality : sky, earth and you.... why not a one day tour or more to enjoy more as it is possible to ask for with the owners of the camp.

We had been staying in Jaisalmer and wanted a cultural show...
We had been staying in Jaisalmer and wanted a cultural show under the stars in the desert, so we went to Winds. We started the show outdoors with drinks and dinner when it started raining so we moved indoors for the music and dance show and to finish dinner. We especially enjoyed the dance with all the bowls on her head. In the morning we went for a short camel ride which is included.

Staying at the desert harmony resort in Jaisalmer was an incredible adventure. The camel safari across the dunes at sunset was a surreal experience. The tents were comfortable, and the cultural program in the evening provided insight into Rajasthani culture. A perfect getaway in the Thar Desert!
It was a great experience in this camp in jaisalmer. They welcomed us in the camp with tilak in a traditional way and at night they entertained us with their traditional folk dance and songs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a ultimate experience with them at the desert

My staying experience in the Aroma Desert Safari camp was really amazing. We really enjoy the eco-friendly location and their receptionist/manager was also very supportive and nice in behaviour. I hope, I will visit/stay again in this budget and precious camp
ARMAN DESERT RESORT does,nt exit. When i phone from ARMAN DESERT RESORT person Sohail khan took phone, & ask to come - Royal Adventure camp. And not the same photo as we seen photo with sweeming pool, they did,nt have sweeming pool, full of lieing.
Very nice camp to stay, staff is very nice and take of every requirements. Prince camp is in the middle of SAM not roadside that adds fantastic feeling in your desert visit. One must defiantly opt this camp to stay.
