We had a lovely stay at Golden Fort resort in Jaisalmer, the service was excellent - the staff were always ready to help with whatever we needed. We stayed in one of the tents - it was spacious and had an en-suite bathroom with hot water. In the evening we enjoyed a show - musicians and dancers and a good buffet meal. Overall we would recommend staying here.

To be honest I thought it would be a continuous desert beyond Jaisalmer before our visit there. Know that the dunes are formed at certain places only. But they are obviously out of the world. One has to visit it once.

If you want to visit proper desert with Sandunes then Sam is the place. Gets a bit crowded during winter season but it's ideal climate to visit Jaisalmer. You can do Jeep Safari for sunset and sunrise. Same with camel safari. Desert bike and parasailing also available. If you are traveling in winter grab some warm clothes as it gets really cold in the mornings and evenings especially due to the winds. there are tons of camps and most of them offer cultural program. There are also lots of restuarants around and personal vehicle can be really helpful.

Sam sand dunes are a must to experience when travelling Rajasthan and Jaisalmer. You can feel what's the meaning of coming back to the simple reality : sky, earth and you.... why not a one day tour or more to enjoy more as it is possible to ask for with the owners of the camp.

We had been staying in Jaisalmer and wanted a cultural show...
We had been staying in Jaisalmer and wanted a cultural show under the stars in the desert, so we went to Winds. We started the show outdoors with drinks and dinner when it started raining so we moved indoors for the music and dance show and to finish dinner. We especially enjoyed the dance with all the bowls on her head. In the morning we went for a short camel ride which is included.

The Golden empire resorts in Jaisalmer provide you with the best possible rates as well as the best experience you can get of the place. The place serves amazing and hygienic food for their guests. I had a great time with my family and we took two tents which were very clean and well maintained. The cultural program in the evening was also one of a kind experience and included shayaris, traditional dance form, traditional instruments, fire show and some modern music in the end. All in all great vibes and great experience.
Their desert Camel Ride which was of like 5-6Kms..Food was amazing from snacks to dinner..Breakfast was good..had variety throughtout all meals..Folk music was good cant comment more on it as i have no idea about it..The property is at Kanoi village..where there js peace and no crowd like in Sam Dunes..The place is more suited for families and couple and not bachelors..Property Owner Himanshu is very hospitable and was personally involved..Rooms are big with authentic rajasthani look..no problem in terms of space..
If you want to experience the best desert safari in Jaisalmer, The Village By The Sand is the only option.

The 1st thing anyone would love is the service, the check in procedure was really quick, we just booked the hotel for a day, but got all the best experience. we really wanted to extend the stay but as per plan we had to head to other place, me and my friends really had good time. The owners of the place Sanjeev and Swapnil were really great and guided us what we could do around the place and really helped a lot.
I must say the Camp site is very amazing and staff is very polite and hospitality is very good . Facilities provided by the Jaisalmer Golden Stone Resort is awesome and specially at very low cost . Snacks at Cultural Programme , Dinner and Breakfast are very delicious . Camel Safari and Jeep Safari was also very exciting , adventures and joyful .
