The smell in the hotel is very neutral and pleasant. Staff are friendly but not committed to their words as they say they will send someone to fix the ac and no one showed up after my three calls. This hotel is by some North Indians I felt as mostly staffed and I felt I’m in North India or so. Breakfast very average less than a three star hotel breakfast. As soon as u enter the campus , it’s very congested , and hardly a car can turn around the front driveway. I stayed here only because I already paid and cancellation costed me a night fee. I thought would have gone to Sheraton near by or any other better 5 star. Location it’s too far, not worth if someone wants to access the city as city to Kakkanad the traffic is horrible. One thing I liked I didn’t feel any smoking smell although they changed my room three times. Staff are friendly and professional but they can be minimum half hour to attend any needs or to visit room to check things. I recommend this hotel requires a strong and serious minded quality check as I feel they don’t even monitor if bedspreads and pillow covers are washed or not, the second time they gave me change of room was horrrible as pillow and beds looked like 10 year or older, they should replace their old beds, pillows and towels and sheets if it’s a 5 star. Unlike crown plaza or other 5 star hotels, they only have one restaurant and the breakfast was poor as only few items. Do not consider since the price is dropped as when you get their you might end up pay tax as it happened to myself a huge change in over all price, and if location matters to you. Thank you for the final upgrade you provided and I got it only as I been insistent on what I needed. If you are not a person who can push things move, it may not be a satisfied stay over all. I don’t think house keeping is taken seriously in this place especially the basic rooms. It’s not the staff issue as they have age old beds and pillows and sheets in many room which all needs replacement.
