The room book was air conditioned room. However no air conditioned room was provided. The temperature at lucknow was 42 degree and it was inhabitable. Ultimately couldn't stay the next night.

We had arrived a bit early around 08:00 AM and they let us check in without much fuss. Breakfast was excellent and staff were quite willing to help - we wanted crispy dosa and we got that. Choices available for breakfast is also excellent.
We had an issue with the taxi that we had arranged from a local company. It was an unsafe vehilce and we asked them to drop us back to the hotel. Hotel staff went out of their way and though all their own vehicles were unavailable they arranged one from their supplier in no time. Want to thank Ms. Ayesha for going out of her way in arranging this so speedily. We had already checked out and there was no compulsion on them to arrange something for us. The attitude of the staff at gate, reception and concierge just makes one realise how Taj excels in customer care.
