Not even in our best dreams we could have thought when we were booking this place that we would experience such an amazing, spiritual, beautiful and delicious stay at Maatre Yoga Retreat.The nature around the land is breathtaking and the garden inside the property with its marvelous trees, flowers, birds ...it is just incredible.
Delicious and tasty food plus gorgeous people working there makes it even better.
But if you add to this amazing picture the practices of Navendu(They are so full of love, devotion, energy),it would describe a little bit what Maatre is about...love,nature,joy....

Wonderful lodge, our cottage was fantastic, wish to stay longer next time. Staff were extremely helpful and helped us book our safari tour. Very highly recommended.

Absolutely perfect stay. Staff was excellent and extremely courteous. Every corner of the room was clean. Hats off the the restaurant staff for working round the clock with a smile. We had buffet breakfast and dinner, good spread. Taste of few items could be better. Otherwise value for money. Highly recommended, loved the pool and bar view.

Beautiful resort with beautiful location. If you are stuck in your daily busy life then this place is a perfect for relaxation & mediation. I stayed one night at this resort. It's a wonderful place with all modern facilities. Staff was very nice and helpful. Food is excellent. The room was spacious and clean. It is located very close to Durga devi zone which gives the opportunity to have a comfortable safari in this zone.

Though it was a last minute change of plans and booked it...
Though it was a last minute change of plans and booked it just a day before we checked in, it was worth everything we were looking forward too, just felt bad it was a very short stay, couldn't walk down the river which was amazing to see from above.

The road from Ramnagar onwards is very bad and property to approx. 2 hours (40 Kms) away from the main city. Once you reach the property you have no option for near travel you have to travel 2 hours to get to the market or book a jungle safari, if the option from the hotel does not meet your requirement
