We stayed for a week. the apartment was simple but very clean. We came looking for sun, beach and quiet and we certainly found all three. the sunsets were spectacular and the sea was clean, warm and and the beach wide and mostly deserted. There are two similarly priced restaurants within walking distance from the apartment. We ate excellent food in both, including a local fish called Leppo and calamari and the best homemade fries and curry. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We took a local tuk-tuk to go to the market and it was fun and safe. A perfect escape!

Cancabcona is a small town, so it is best to keep your expectations accordingly. Apart from Palolem beach which is the biggest highlight of this place, you can go inside and visit places like Mallikarjuna Temple, a trip to Monkey Island, or boat ride to Butterfly island etc.
Food on the beach was good but was not authentic goan. You can get a better price and more authentic food away from the beach towards the internal areas.
You can get a vehicle on rent and drive around the interior reasons of Canacona.

The beach has become too crowded.
The beach has become too crowded. With the rising water levels shacks are built too close to the sea. I couldn't access my hotel from the beach at high tide/night.
They need to ban straws in all shacks.
This apartment was our best stay in Goa, 30 seconds and you're on the most beautiful beach in the state, and the quietest too.
The place is also extremely quiet (rare thing in India!), super clean and well equipped, but most importantly it feels homely.
The owner is a retired teacher, so caring and helpful, Fermin is the cool aunt we all want to visit.
We left with watery eyes...

This place is just great, only like 20 mtrs away from the palolem beach in South Goa. With clean and comfortable rooms and also very low on price . The staff was very kind and helpful.

Best hotel in patnem for a relaxing stay. They maintain proper cleanliness and hygiene in the property. The staff is nice.
If you want to stay in the sea-view room you need to plan early. Those rooms get booked fast. Mine was a last hour plan so I booked the cottage room.
Overall it was a pleasant stay.
We loved the location, the bar and food was amazing! One night we had king prawns and a whole kingfish, good price and one of the best meals we had in India! Sunbeds were comfy, beach is lovely! Prices in bar were good, would definitely stay again!

Calm. Serene. Blissful. Overall, our stay at the Pearl Beach Resort was nothing short of magical. A combo of breathtaking surroundings, impeccable service n luxurious accommodations made it a truly unforgettable experience!
I liked everything about the place. Staff was super supportive. Place was clean and peaceful. Beds are clean and washroom was hygienic. Overall i would highly recommend this place if you are planning to stay in South Goa.

Hostel is designed with the theme of Money Heist. It's a new hostel and very clean. It's spacious and lots of amenities. Beach is just 2 min walk. Overall best hostel of Palolem, I must say.
Had a great stay at this family run hotel. Bed was comfortable and had all the basics you need. Fantastic location, just across the road from the beach. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again
