At har ki podi attend ganga aarti. It was very blissfull. Local auto & taxi need to be more helpfull & transperent. Missed ola & uber services. If u r travelling u have to bargain with local transporters.

A great place. You can feel the heart beat of pious hindu sentiment here. Do not miss the Ganga Arti. The high point of Haridwar. Ganga is the main and only attraction here.
If you are not a devout follower of Mansa Devi, do not go to this place. It is not tourist friendly and overcrowded.

Great place and great vibe! Of course there are a lot of people because it is a holy place, but the ganga arti in the evening, the temples in the city add to such a majestic and peaceful vibes. Loved it.

Haridwar is a must one time visit.
Haridwar is a must one time visit. If you are not visiting for any specific purpose or it’s your first visit, strictly avoid any religious festival. It is very very crowded at those times. There are many places to visit nearby so plan for 3-4 days. Har ki peri, Mansa devi temple,Chandi devi temple , Rishikesh are some places to visit not to miss Ganga Arti at Har ki peri. Try Halwa from Mohan Poori wala at Har ki peri.
We had stayed in Abhyudyam Ganga Hotel alongwith my family (Including elderly mother) as we had been for an important ritual in Haridwar. We had an excellent experience with very courteous, humble and helpful staff. Services were excellent and we had a wonderful breakfast at the hotel as well.

Hotel is on the campus of Haridwar railway station. It's very clean and has a nice ambience but as per the cost it should give more facilities like swimming pool vibes ..Terrance vibes however the restaurant is well decorated with all food items as my breakfast is included that's why its complimentary the staff are very polite stay was very nice

I have booked hotel from booking.com around 7 in evening and it was clearly mentioned that pay at property and around 11:55 hotel send mail for payment which i didn't see as drive from faridabad to haridwar next day in morning once I reached hotel they told me that rooms not available and they even don't talk in good way
