It depends what you want.
It depends what you want. I've been there several times as I have worked in India and it's very convenient for a short break before returning to the UK.There are a lot more tourists than there were even 5 years ago but it's the same nearly everywhere. The south of Goa is quieter and I guess so are parts of Kerala if you want beach but I haven't been for ages so not the best judge. There's a good choice of restaurants in Colva and the ATM usually works. You can walk around it in a very short time. There are lots of tourist shops selling the same stuff as every other tourist place in India. It's easy to get to from the airport. I go because I just want a short break in a convenient location with a clean beach. To be honest there are much more interesting places to see in India but they are not beach places. If you want beach go to S.E.Asia! Colva is fine but not "real" India.

We are not sunbathers, so felt Colva was geared up for people who didn’t want to do much.
There are loads of really good restaurants in Colva. They might not always look as Europeans expect, but when you go in even the smallest family restaurant the food is superb.
You don’t need to pay hotel prices for food.

Colva-South Goa has peaceful,serene beaches.
Colva-South Goa has peaceful, serene beaches. It is not as congested as North Goa. The new roads make travel to north goa a breeze. We enjoyed food at Boomerang beach restaurant. Ensure you take mosquito repellent. Colva is situated near to other south Goa locations & it is easy to travel to North Goa.

Colva is small and quiet located in South Go.
Colva is small and quiet located in South Go. If you're looking for action you should probably book in north Goa. This area is for resting, relaxing and there are a few bars where you can drink while watching the waves roll in. It's about 30 minutes from the airport.

Remember It's South Goa...It's calm quiet and not like North Goa....
The resort is perfect for relaxing. It is cute and comfortable resort. Very clean and comfortable not very big rooms. Staff is very helpful. The place is at a very good location from benaulim Beach. Also near to Colva beach. Nearby location is calm and peaceful. Resort is full of trees and a small central pool to relax. A drink and dip in the pool is a must. Staff is very helpful. They cleaned the pool as soon as we asked. Play some games with your friends in the pool. You will have a perfect peaceful holiday and also in budget.
The location of the Resort is right on the beach. The dining area gives full view of the sea and food is good. The guests have to reach Colva Beach, hardly one Km from the resort, then a 4x4 vehicle takes you to the Resort through a somewhat forested area meandering through a sandy road. The vehicle service is very prompt and available 24 hrs. The beach is very clean, pristine and beautiful.
It's located right on one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa, Betelbatim beach. Really loved the overall ambience, the room was clean & large enough... Special mention of the food quality & variety..tried Italian, Thai, and Indian food and the preparation & quality was commendable....would love to come back for a stay again....
The room was clean & the best part is the sea view from the room. The breakfast buffet was vast with Indian continental & live counters. I have been to Goa before but this resort is ultimate & a must visit. We got early check-in too & staff is friendly too & cleanliness is at its best. The pool too is best.

It a wonderful hotel if you want to take a complete break from the hustle and bustle of India. This is our 4th trip to the hotel and love the rooms, pools, the spa and the wonderful food. It's also close to Colva and many restaurants - you can walk or get a cab.
Hotel Owner Gregory Gracias is super helpful. He guided tours and own tourist vehicle. He drove us to the tourist spots. Colva beach is within 200 meters. Complete value for money.
For families, South Goa is better than North Goa. It is cheaper also.
The ambience is amazing. The scenic beauty around the property is mesmerizing. Sernabatim beach is the nearest beach to the property which is less crowded and you can find the calm sea best for swimming(if you can). The rooms are quite spacious.
If you want to disconnect and have a relaxing stay this is absolutely for you. The staff is amazing, the breakfast buffet was the highlight of our stay. Mad respect to the two Goan guys working in the morning - incredible hospitality.

Nothing. This is worst hotel i have stayed in Goa. It is a lodge, not a hotel. One of the most dirty property and smelled like shit. There was no manager and only a staff guy who does all the job.
