The owner at the Sol Hotel was so friendly and kind. I asked for a free upgrade as we were celebrating a birthday and he gave us full choice of any room we wanted. I chose the best room, 3 upgrades higher, all at no extra cost. He went out of his way to give us a great breakfast and allowed us late check out till 1. The room was large and comfortable, tastefully designed with a lovely patio. The area was also lovely, a bit more quiet and lots of galleries/boutique shops/cafes to explore nearby

Everything. The hotel gives excellent value for money.
Mitzpe Ramon is magical.
You can enjoy a different view depending on the time of day. Make sure you get to see the sunset on the promenade and watch the mountains change colors.
There are many trails - the easiest is to walk along the promenade.
If you want to hike, make sure you take plenty of water and a good trail map. You can get info at the visitors center - which is well worth visiting. They have a lovely light show exhibition that explains how this erosion crater "machtesh" was formed.
The crater is a geological wonder. It is also fun to see the ibexes (mountain goats) walking down the streets of the city.

Mitspe Ramon is a small town with a relaxed artistic atmosphere. Desert weather: cool at night hot and dry during daytime. Unique place for discovering stars, colorful rock formations, studying fossils. During winter you can view flash desert floods from a safe location. Great place if you want to spend time by yourself listening to the wind and staring at nature's wonders.

The natural desert scenery is amazing, especially from the cliff top where the Ramon Crater begins. Herds of gazelles stroll through the town. There are a few chic eateries e.g. in the Spice Quarter. We often eat at Mauna, in the main shopping centre: it's vegan, with a limited menu, but the food is delicious.
Driving In Mitzpe Ramon is easy, but most places are walkable. Remember, many shops are closed on Saturday/Jewish Holidays.

Mitzpe Ramon is a gem for nature lovers and nature photographers, especially if you like deserts of course. There are many spots to hike and visit, or having a stroll along the cliffs with stunning views.
If you just wanna rest or enjoying nightlife, there are some nice cafes and bars, for having a cappuccino by reading a book or going out for some live music.

Loved the stargazing in the crater with Ira the Starman- highly recommend this.
A visit to the Alpaca Farm and to Nana Vineyard were very enjoyable.
The visitor center presentation together with the Ilan Ramon exhibit had a huge emotional impact.
Artist Colony/local crafts shops in the "Industrial Zone" were amazing
A well balanced blend of activity, quiet and night life.
Car is a must for quick easy access to all sites.
Ultra and Levi's were our favorite restaurants.
Be sure to check hours and if reservations are needed for events
The room was very nice and clean, had a comfortable bed, and everything you need for a short stay is provided (basic kitchen utensils, extra towels, shampoo and bodywash etc.) The location is good, everything in Mitzpe Ramon is walking distance but there are buses as well. Probably a 10-15 mins walk to the town centre where supermarkets and many restaurants are. The host was very friendly and helpful, and quick to respond.
Everything about our stay was perfect! Excellent family holiday! The rooms were clean and perfect space. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding. We booked for dinner too and there were sooo many options and everything was delicious! My fussy 3 year old boy always found tons of things to choose from. Very family friendly hotel. We can’t wait to come back again!
The check-in is contactless. We happened to show up while staff was around, and Batia (spelling may not be correct) was very helpful. We requested 4 rooms together, which didn't happen. Batia moved us around so it all worked out. The hotel has a massive lobby, with table and chairs. We did take-out from multiple nearby restaurants and ate in the lobby.
location convenient room adequate, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast adequiate,
Mitzpe Ramon is a small growing town on the edge of one of the world's most beautiful locations, Israel's great canyon, that has so much of interest and beauty to explore,
the small town has some good restaurants, and for religious Jews a number of synagogues,
The farm is in a good location right by Mitzpe Ramon. The rooms were comfortable, but smallest for a family of 4 -- tightly packed in. It was nice to feed llamas and alpacas. The staff were friendly and accommodating. A/C worked well and the campfire was a nice touch.
Really cool vibe. Full functional kitchen to use. Lots of space to sit inside the lounge area. Tents are very cute. Bathrooms good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location to everywhere else in Mitzpe Ramon. People social in the hostel and always happy to chat
We spent one night in Mitzpe Ramon, and found this room to be nice, clean and convenient.
It's located not far from the spice quarter.
There is no air conditioning in the room, but we just left the window open and the chilly air did the trick :)
The location is terrific. Beautiful hotel, beautiful room and bathroom. Fabulous swimming pool. The staff were friendly, attentive and obliging. Attractive sitting and relaxing areas. Wonderful massage.
Great family hotel. The rooms were big. The pool was a nice size, indoor and heated. They had a holiday show for kids in the lobby for חנוכה with סופגניות. breakfast food was great.
Great villa. Lovely kitchen, lounge area. Very comfy beds. Lovely little pool. Fantastic location for Mitzpe Ramon crater. Roey very helpful indeed. Would recommend.
