When we arrived, checked-in, and were on our way to the room, hotel manager (Ronen) saw us with bicycle and upgraded us to a suite. Ronen was very serviceable and kind, made our short stay very enjoyable. Definitely recommending.

It was an exceptional stay for us. The hotel is located in a historical building and everything inside and outside of the hotel looks very authentic and nice. The location is great - few minutes walk to the seaside promenade, restaurants, shopping locations, etc. Usually, I do not pay attention, but here I can say - very reasonable placement of power outlets, lights and light switches in the room was exceptional. Good breakfast - you can find a meal to your requirements.

The Shavit family were very warm, kind and helpful hosts who made guests feel very welcome. Israel and Gafen are excellent hosts. Israel prepares wonderful fresh food and his breakfasts are the best I have eaten in Israel so far. Fresh fruit produce, home made preserves, real mint tea warmed pomegranate jam, freshly squeezed grapefruit juice! SO delicious! Then there are the cliffs and interesting hikes and a beautiful pool to cool off in afterwards at Arbel guesthouse. This is a must stay place in Israel.
Best place I stayed in Israel. Fantastic location, literally across the road from the path to Arbel National Park which has amazing views of the Sea of Galilee and surrounding areas. Great pool, balcony and hot tub in the room! The property is in a very nice garden (I bumped my head on the biggest lime I have ever seen walking through the garden). Very close to the bus stop to Tiberias. Also by far the best breakfast I had on my whole trip. Staff are very friendly. Can strongly recommend!
Excellent holiday home for couples, families or friends near to the mountain Arbel
We could rest and relax, very pleasant environment and great facilities. Swimming pool which is open during the day and night and heated water for night. Jacuzzi is provided on the territory too. The hosts are very nice, rooms are bright and comfortable, well equipped, and the garden has even a playground for children.
We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it!
This guest house has it all: great cooking by master chef Geffen, relaxed friendliness of the Arbel family, jacuzzi inside and heated pool outside (even in winter!!!), plus the superb location near the Arbel cliff and right at the ancient Arbel synagogue (a 2 minute walk from the house!). The Arbel moshav is small and idyllic, and ugly Tiberias is nowhere in sight! Absolutely sleep here and not in Tiberias, for goodness sake!!! The rooms are lovely.

The place isn't the newest, but is clean, extremely well kept, and the room facilities are more than could be asked for (Kitchen, bath tub, showers and balcony). The swimming pool is great and the overall environment, views, vegetation and house pets are very pleasant.
The Shavit family also serves the absolute best breakfast in the country.
Superb meals with real home cooking made with great skill and love. The location is brilliant - close to the Sea of Galillee and other attractions, but far enough away to be peaceful and in a unique rural and wild hills area. We love this family. Recommended for those who want to visit a place to meet a salt of the earth Israeli Family. We will certainly be going back on our next visit and cannot recommend them highly enough.
we are two senior couples visiting Israel for three weeks. we have stayed at Abel guest house on other occasions and appreciate the warm welcome we receive. the location is wonderful and close to the beautiful Galilee. breakfast is substantial and beautifully served. we appreciated the friendliness and assistance provided by our hosts.

We had two excellent nights. The owners are very friendly and helpful, we got tips from them about places to visit. The location is very good. We also enjoyed the pool, and the breakfast was the best one we had in our trip in Israel, with fresh and homemade products!
Amazing hot tub in the room, simply beautiful surroundings, great access to the Arbel cliff nature reserve. They accommodated our baby, and dogs. Had a lot of fun BBQing outside our cabin! It was great value for the money.
This was the perfect place to rest and recharge for the next day of hiking. The facility was amazing and next time I need a place to stay in the Galilee area, I will choose Switzerland In The Arbel.

Lovely family. NOT Boutique. Cabin was fine. Has BBQ, but no utensils. Close to Arbel National Park and Tiberius. Pool may have been ice, but weather too cold when we stayed there.
