This was an absolute winner ! The house is gorgeous, the room is lovely, the location is beautiful and very historic but most of all the hosts are truly one of a kind.. accommodating, super friendly, made us feel like we were treasured friends of the family rather than ordinary guests!!! Donie greeted us with a warm welcome, showed us around and sorted everything out. Then we woke next morning to the gorgeous breakfast aromas and went down to the kitchen where a breakfast of champions was laid before us and all the while Donie regaled us with tales of the fairy Fort and museums nearby and all sorts of local wisdom. The value for money was off the reichter scale and the whole visit was exceptional, a truly Irish welcome.

Quaint little traditional pub, local people plenty of character, kind hosts, lovely room, good breakfast, fun place to stay.
Family run hotel. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast which is so rare to find in hotels nowadays. The friendliest staff I have encountered for years. We also had dinner one evening. Excellent simple menu and very reasonably priced.
Very pleasant reception staff. Very attentive service in bar and restaurant. Good food at dinner and breakfast. Hotel was immaculate and very spacious room with comfortable bed. Lots of off street parking.
