Sligo itself was ok but to be honest we stayed because it was central to the area we wanted to explore. If you go to Sligo don’t miss Glencar Waterfall and the Devils Chimney. Also Achill island make sure you follow the coast

We were mostly in the Strandhill area which is beautiful. Lots of places to eat and drink. Beautiful beach area where surfers were surfing, and Knocknarea to climb if you have the legs for it! Dinner at The Venue and best we’ve had so far. The Strand Bar was fantastic too. Fresh sweet seafood!

Sligo is a lovely place, both for itself and its location to explore lots of interesting places nearby. There are lots of cafes and restaurants to suit every taste. The man in the tourist office was so nice and helpful. We were sorry that we couldn't go on the walking tour It sounded very interesting . The one way traffic system is a bit confusing but we got used to it quickly. Actually, I'd advise people to park the car and just walk.. its much quicker.

The Hotel is located in the heart of sligo town within walking distance of town and sligo hospital. Excellent food, rooms clean and warm with tea and coffee making facilities. We booked in because of the bad road conditions and needed to get to work and weren't disappointed. The bar staff were excellent friendly and very efficient when serving the food and drinks. The breakfast in the mornings gave great choice and value for money, all included in the hotel rate would highly recommend a stay in the Riverside

The hotel was very well located 15 min drive outside Sligo in a beautiful and quiet area. You are welcome by lovely staff and some relaxing music playing in the room on the vintage radio. The decoration is exquisite, and the cleanliness was on top. The room was spacious with a small sofa. Very agréable and relaxing stay would recommend it and definitely will come back.

Great price for a nights stay. I wish I stayed longer in Sligo. Check in was quick as they had three staff members at the front desk checking people in at 3 PM. Staff were friendly. Room was spacious compared to other hotels in Ireland that I stayed in. Ample parking for guest. I like that the hotel is tucked away but only a short drive to surrounding attractions.

The apartment was extremely spacious. Two adults with two kids and we had three bedrooms, each with their own toilet and shower. A very large kitchen and living room area. The view over the lake was beautiful. Two nights here was about the same cost as one night in a hotel in Sligo. Rachel looked after our booking and she was very efficient.

We had a great stay at No 13 for a family event happening in the nearby Sligo Park Hotel. The house was warm, clean and welcoming with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and the linens and towels were top quality. Our host called during our stay to check if we needed anything - a nice touch! We'll be back again.

Great location, very close to the city centre and all the other wonderful attractions Sligo has to offer. Lovey and friendly reception and security, easily accessed and quick to answer any questions. It is student accommodation during the term year so it is basic - the bed mattress could have been comfier, but it is clean, safe and secure.

The room was quite modest, but tidy and comfortable, but the view was fantastic. The hotel is right on the river (over it in parts) and vista was wonderful. Great location, close to the city centre. Sligo is a beautiful city, wished we could have stayed longer.

I enjoyed meeting our host Jerry and learning about the sites in Sligo. Castledale is spectacular: the grounds are beautiful, the decor and rooms are opulent. There is a billiards room and entertainment room that provides a nice place to unwind and relax.

It was a welcomed me relief from guesthouses or hotels. A tiny, cozy cabin in the Irish countryside. We were delighted that it rained all night and had the patter on the roof. Michelle was very communicative and helpful.
