Rathmullan is a lovely seaside town, nice shoreline walks and scenery, parking and toilets at the pier If you plan to stay, we found the Pubs, cafes and restaurants to be unpredictable during low season and shouldn’t be relied upon. They didn’t open according to Google/website times (or didn’t open at all) - particularly early/mid week nights, would be open but weren’t serving food or the places stopped serving food after 7/8pm - we found 3 places in the immediate area so very limited choice, only the most expensive served until 8:45. If we stayed again we would find a place to self cater, eat early or eat/book elsewhere (eg letterkenney)

The convience where the apartment was situated and how easy it was to find restaurants and bars and a village shop everything was just a short walk and all on the flat especially for people in wheelchairs and people who find it hard to walk brilliant holiday and so handy to find so many different beaches and very friendly people will recommend this place to my friends

Rathmullan is a very picturesque village with quaint traditional houses and some very good restaurants and pubs. Rathmullan has some very interesting historical sites and it's own Country House Hotel with beautiful grounds Exceptionally clean with very friendly local people Kinnergar Strand (beach) is about a mile and a half long and stunning The town verges are full of wild flowers Then there is Lough Swilley with it's Ferry and a little harbour and a great Playground for children.
