Really great, unusual place to stay, but what really made it was our lovely hostess and all the thoughtful touches. Breakfast was DIY which was great as we could have what we wanted when we wanted from the great range of food provided! It was also in a beautiful location near a lake.

What a welcoming, lovely place! The breakfast is absolutely amazing. We stopped here for one night. Next to the house (200m) is a restaurant/pub that is really recommendable.
Thank you very much for this experience!

What an amazing Gem! Our hosts were absolutely brilliant. We made a very late last-minute booking, and she accommodated us - following up throughout our journey and stay to ensure all our needs were met.
The glamping tent had everything one needs and more! It was beautifully decorated, cozy, and comfy. The breakfast room was absolutely fantastic. Every care was given in providing the weary traveller with nourishment and comfort. The location is brilliant - wish we had more time to explore but we will definitely be back. An amazing place to stay with friendly attentive hosts: highly recommended!

Nenagh has a distinct happiness. Its a happening place all of its own. Amongst many the people friendliness is second to none . not mind the craic, history of the place .. Beauty and all over culture etc etc. Go see for your self.

Staying at Old Farm was a fantastic experience as it is beautiful and cosy. Margaret and Alfie were very friendly and helpful. From the minute I arrived I was welcomed and they looked after me very well. All the guests become part of the family! Breakfasts, with fresh laid eggs and homemade bread and jams, and (optional) dinners with the hosts and other guests were a highlight. There was always excellent home-cooked food (with special attention to specific diets), great company, fun and interesting conversations. One day Alfie and a young girl guest made flat breads and a range of burgers, which was so nice to see and eat! Having the hens, ducks, lovable dogs and cats was a bonus. It's a very picture-book place, well positioned for access to many towns and sites of interest, but peaceful as a retreat too. I was also able to work online from there too. Can't wait to go back.

I loved Nenagh. My grandfather was from there.
I loved Nenagh. My grandfather was from there. One thing I really like about Nenagh is the bustling high street full of authentic shops, and not loads of chain stores and identikit places like they have in the UK. It is a good place for people who like walking and outdoor activities.

Beautiful holiday home with 3 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. House was toasty warm, with a lovely log burning stove and a view out the back on to lough Derg. 2 minutes walk to the Whiskey Still pub which serves great food! Nenagh is just 12 minutes drive away, nice shops to browse etc. leisure centre with swimming pool and indoor play centre can also be found there .. handy to entertain the kids!
The shower was so good compared to other 3 star hotels. Afterwards, I couldn't use the mirror in the shower room due to it fogging up. Having a window opened didn't seem to make any difference. I liked that there was a separate iron board to use.
Hotel quality room in a large private house. All sparkling clean with fluffy towels and bed linen. There are couple of pubs, marina for boats in short walking distance and nice wood. It is perfect location for summer days.
