Crammond House, hotel in Milford

Set in Ramelton and only 13 km from Donegal County Museum, Crammond House offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

This beautiful house was exceptionally clean, well equipped, well maintained, comfortable and had secure parking. The bedroom was fantastic and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was equipped with everything we required including clean, fresh towels, shower gel, shampoo, hand soap and creams and the shower was very good with adequate hot water. Breakfast was first class, with options of various cereals, fresh fruit salad & yogurt, juices, warm scones & jams, toast, as well as a cooked full Irish breakfast. The best thing about our stay however was our hosts, Drew & Christine. They were so friendly and welcoming right from the moment we arrived at their lovely house. Our welcome was so warm that it felt like we were staying with relatives. They are the nicest most obliging and helpful people we have had the pleasure to meet in 3 visits to Ireland. You will not find a better place to stay or nicer hosts anywhere. We will be returning again in the future.

You need to know where to park and where to shop. There are few restaurants in town, so you need to travel around the area to restaurants. It is a place that people pass through a lot is it id a hub location to get to many other places.

Didn't spend too much time in Milford itself, used it as a base for exploring beaches & coast of Donegal, Ballymastocker, Fanad, Dunfanaghy. Milford town is small with not much in way of tourist attractions but there are many beautiful beaches nearby if you have a car

The location was excellent to explore the coastline of Donegal. The cottage no2 was excellent for a family, clean and airy. Dolores is a lovely welcoming lady and very helpful giving us loads of ideas and recommendations for things to do and see and place to eat! We had great chats with Dolores upon check-in and checkout. Stair gate was provided for the stairs which was excellent. Cottages and grounds are well kept and a play area for kids was very handy. Only a few mins to Milford by car and lidl only 5 mins drive.

Elena very nice, property is fine but isolated and the address Upper Main street is misleading as it quite far out of Milford, near the end of a small dirt road, up in the mountain. Almost impossible to find as the property is not signposted. Dont use the aircode locator as it's pointless. And my mobile coverage cut out so could not ring. Breakfast great, Elena is lovely and really enjoyed the conversation with her. house is big and there's a pool room and tv room.

We were very happy with our stay. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas and seemed to be newly decorated . We had a lovely meal in the bar the eve we arrived. We found the staff very helpful and so lovely to deal with. Nothing was a bother. Well done and keep up the good work
