Pierce was very welcoming and excellent at replying to text messages. The homemade brown bread ,eggs and milk was such a lovely touch. Lovely homely feel at this property. Has been renovated beautifully!

Rose was lovely and made us feel very welcome. The period house itself has some lovely architectural details and although a little dated in decor was very clean with crisp bed linen and fluffy duvets and good pillows. The breakfast was amazing, one of the best I’ve had in a B&B and Rose was attentive at the table offering extra beverages and toast ! Its location is perfect for a short stroll along the river into the village where we had a couple of pints in the local pub and chips in the take away on the return . Although there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, Rose ensured we had access to a kettle etc in the dining room. She also kindly made us tea on arrival

Beautiful hotel room was nice and spacious. Breakfast was good as well we are in the bar on our first night and was a little disappointed. Not much of a selection on the menu which was disappointing and on that particular night service was very slow. Staff were very friendly but seems like not enough staff to cover resturant and bar.
