We come here twice a year for our grandparents anniversary mass. Perfect location, walking distance to Letterfrack village. Would love if check out was a little later but its still manageable. The kids love the farm animals that are roaming freely during the day. We needed to book an extra night this time around and Carmel was very helpful in getting it organised. We'll be back again in April 😊

This house is absolutely wonderful, it is huge with high ceilings and three bedrooms. There is an ensuite with a shower but also (a jawdropping surprise) a separate bathroom with a vintage looking bath beside a windoq overlooking a field at the back of the house, all surrounded by amazing decor and candles… It is set in a peaceful location for a good night’s sleep, the grass was cut and there were plenty of pillows, books and even extra blankets for a cosy evening inside.

Stunning location to stay and as a base to explore the area. We loved driving around, visiting the towns and villages and beaches and also loved the Killary boat tour which has excellent commentary. We had lunches out in Louisberg and westport and Galway, all lovely places to explore and went for a swim at Silver Strand beach in the clearest water.

Leenaun is situated on a fjord with the most breathtaking views of the mountains. It's a small village, with pubs, restaurants and shops. Very popular with travellers so can get quite busy. The surrounding area is beautiful with a lot to see and do.

Lovely trip. I had never been to this area before. The views are absolutely amazing. Never knew there was so much to see here. Staff were very helpful. The hotel employ all nationalities so they were well able to help the tourists. Lots of maps and tips for tourists. They will even make packed lunches for groups heading out the next day.

The hotel is situated beside Killary Fjord, Ireland’s only fjord, in the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way. The accommodation in the hotel was clean and comfortable and we were allowed to keep our dog in the room. In fact we could bring Bella with us everywhere except the restaurant. Staff were courteous and friendly and the substantial meals were promptly served.

Car required , great option if touring Connemara, suitable for walking, cycling and outdoor activities. Do try bar or restaurant for lunch or dinner food really good and excellent price. My favourite lamb shank so tasty.
Comfortable hotel with old style charm, in a beautiful setting overlooking the Killary Fjord. It has a classic lounge, cosy bar and a great restaurant providing excellent meals at good prices. Breakfast is served in the restaurant and is more than plentiful. The service is pleasant and efficient. Bedrooms have plenty of space and all facilities needed. Plenty of parking is available. It is a very short stroll into Leenaun but the hotel has everything you need.
Excellent service, the hotel staff are very friendly and helped with all issues. Comfortable furniture, everything you need, hot water in the taps. There is a lot of space in the recreation areas, there are play areas with board games. Very beautiful views of the mountains, lake and sunset.
The lodge is located by the Killary fjord (one of 3 fjords in Ireland). It was very beatiful!
Room was very nice and clean, the breakfast was good (and not expensive) and the owner was very kind.

Location, the grounds and the look of the hotel is amazing. Breakfast was really good.
We didn't get offered the bar menu for dinner so didn't realise this was an option. Restaurant was pretty with amazing views. Dinner was nice but vegetables were bland.
