Amazing location. Dog friendly hotel. Rooms out of the way access outside but not bothering anyone. Option to have breakfast in separate location or room service. Dinner was lovely.

The views from the property are exceptional. The owners were very friendly and more than helpful. The Lodge is set right in the centre of the village making easy to get to the local shops and village pub. Parking at the Lodge is off the main road that passes through the village and the vehicles are not visible to people passing by.
Totally remote and peaceful. Not for people looking to be very busy. As we booked during a pandeminc, not much was open, like local pubs etc. But we still went on plenty of walks, took lots of photos, etc.
Gorgeous scenary,Relaxing atmosphere.Glenbur, our local village was 5-6 miles away.Had everything needful.People were lovely.Went to Burkes,a local pub/diner there on a wed evening-had an Irish music group there, and I believe some local youngsters who also sang.Even had a French song-lovely.Also Cong, again a smal village further on was lovely, site of the filming of the John Houston film"The Quiet Man".Also near Ashford castle-could walk to it-but not directly.Had a pleasant boat trip out on Lough Corrib, and an excursion to Inishguill(spelling?).Many other driving trips-Achill island,Castlebar,Clifton,Connamara,Galway-saw a lot.
