Accommodation is in a very good location, close to the city centre. Bedroom and a house spotless, breakfast very tasty. House is old style and makes it feel like 100 years stepping back. Manager Jurgita is attentive and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

Dundalk in County Louth, the wee county, provided an incredible outpouring of creativity to celebrate Brigid1500. The Northern Lights Light Show in Market Square, the murals and storefronts painted with signs of Spring and Brigid, the cultural production at An Tain Theatre and the County Museum.
We were there for 4 days and we made the Proper Cafe "our cafe". The staff were very welcoming and remembered us and the food was great!
We also took a bus to Carlingford and enjoyed a short hike and great views of Carlingford Lough. Also, the home of Thomas Darcy McGee, and Father of Canadian Confederation.

At St.
At St. Patrics Day there were no free hotel in good price in Dublin. This choice for accomodation was the best choice, only 1 hour from Dublin by train, and found a very nice pansion with polite people.

The Imperial Hotel is a lovely comfortable hotel with very friendly helpful staff. The location of the hotel is very central and the town centre and shopping are just a short stroll from the door. My husband enjoyed a very pleasant evening at the races in Ireland's only all weather racecourse, just a short Taxi ride away, while I browsed and shopped in the nearby Shopping Centre. We dined in the hotel, where the food was excellent. We had a lovely restful two day break, and we plan to return there in the future.

People were very friendly, a lot of greetings while out walking the street on a wet morning, likewise staff in shops all very welcoming, the town could do more to promote it's history and some beautiful surroundings within close proximity, unfortunately there are a lot of derelict or dilapidated buildings around the town. The town also could do with a better range of dining experiences The Spotted Dog was excellent but a few more restaurants at that end of the market would be very welcome.

Dundalk has lots of potential.
Dundalk has lots of potential. Nicely laid out town and looking very well Unfortunately the people of Dundalk don't know the meaning of good customer service, very cold and unwelcoming. We didn't meet a single friendly face in the bars or resteraunts, customer service was NIL!

We stayed at the Carrickdale Hotel.
We stayed at the Carrickdale Hotel. We drove to Newry and did some shopping. Then we went to stunning Carlingford for lunch and more shopping! Back to Blackrock in Dundalk for fish and chips from Roma on the promenade and ice cream at storm in a teacup. Dundalk has beautiful scenic drives and greenway walks and we loved exploring around it.
The hotel stay was above my expectations. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious, comfortable, warm and nicely decorated. Bed was especially comfortable! Breakfast was fresh and very tasty, with the nice selection of food to offer. Dining area was very elegant, with the plenty of light. Overall, if you want supremely nice hotel in a quiet area, at an affordable price, this hotel is for you. We all enjoyed our stay and we'll definitely visit it again.
The location is not in the town centre but it was in the same area as Costa, Supervalu and a pharmacy, which is what you would need just outside your hotel. It is a 5 minute drive to some fastfood chains and shopping areas, and close to the sea with great views in just 5 mins. The location is ideal in my opinion, it’s away from the busy traffic of the town centre but everything is almost at your doorstep.
This spot provided the perfect stay for us on our first couple nights in Ireland. It was incredibly cozy, well-kept, fantastic location to venture into smaller towns during the day/evening while having a nice and quiet respite for the night. Walking up to the sunrise and sheep sounds was the perfect idyllic Irish experience.
It was big enough to afford everyone in our group their own rooms and still be cost effective for us. The bathrooms were shared, but well-kept and stocked. It was a quiet area and we enjoyed a wonderfully restful night after a long couple of days of traveling.
The staff were very nice. The hotel lobby was very impressive. The room exceeded my expectations, and was very luxurious. Full coffee, tea and hot chocolate was provided with the kettle, and two cartons of water. The breakfast was very good.
excellent hotel! Perfect location. Extremely helpful receptionists and staff.Lovely well -equipped and spacious room. Comfy beds. Quick response from reception from room for needs.
Dining excellent in both bar and restaurant .
The guest house was easy to find, within walking distance of the town centre, and there was plenty of parking space. We received a warm welcome from our hosts and the room was well appointed, offering everything we needed.
Ronnie was lovely and very knowledgeable, and Irina was excellent and attentive! We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend to anyone we know passing through Dundalk. It was so clean and the house is so well kept!
Very well restored old building, nicely decorated with comfortable beds. Nice powerful shower and good kitchenette stocked with cereal, bread, milk and orange for breakfast. Handy for Dundalk and the motorway.
The IM hotel is situated in the heart of Dundalk. Our bed was large and comfy. Their restaurant cooked well with wide range of foods and even for us vegans there was a couple of choices to choose from.
Highly recommend. Great location. Very clean and comfy room. Common living room area was large and very comfortable. Lovely breakfast, cooked to order. Great wifi through out. Would stay again.

Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful setting, felt very luxurious. Hotel areas were very spacious and there were plenty of seated areas to relax. Great size hotel room and bed extremely comfortable.
