Gorgeous property. The beds are really comfortable, shower was fab and the gardens are beautiful. The hostess was super nice and her lovely grandson served us breakfast both mornings. The scrambled eggs were also something else. There really isn't anything bad I could say about our stay. Perfect.

Loved the tent, especially the connection between us inside and the exterior world which was so peaceful- the sound of the rain against the tarp ceiling was divine as was the light from the circular window/sky light in the very centre of the yurt. Very spacious, private and beautiful. Nice outside areas to sit in, we definitely felt close to nature during our stay.

It was within a 20-30 minute drive of many sites that show the history of Ireland - such as the ancient town of Athenry and a "Work House" from the mid-1800s right after the famine. You could not imagine the history without being there. Also, the countryside remains rural, yet only about a 2 hour drive from Dublin.
