The location was perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of a busy city, so unbelievably peaceful, you would never know you were in someone's house, which was exceptional by the way, absolutely stunning so clean and elegant, I would highly recommend a visit to Eastbury House, I definitely will be back for more than one night in the future.

Anne, our host, was wonderful. She responded to communication prior to us arriving very quickly. We needed an iron, and she had it ready for when we arrived. Her husband also drove us to our venue in the evening (we were attending a wedding party). and made a detour down to the beach to show us the views (which were stunning). The room was lovely and very comfortable, and the view was wonderful. The location is really peaceful, and we had a really nice stay. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room, which was very welcome. Would definitely stay there again, and would recommend without hesitation.

This place really is special. Mike and Julia are incredibly warm and welcoming. We were really impressed by the accommodation and beautiful surroundings. It was also really clean and quiet. The breakfast was also wonderful. Would absolutely recommend and look forward to returning. And they have the most beautiful dog!
Ballycotton is a lovely little village. The people are friendly and its fun visiting the different little pubs on the Main Street. The food at the Sea church restaurant was superb. The schooner tavern was the ideal accomodation for us with comfortable rooms with ensuite. The staff were lovely and the food was very nice particularly the full breakfast

It’s a remotely located, small seaside village with very few amenities so if you are looking for entertainment and nightlife, it’s probably not the place for you. But if you like coastal walks, tranquility, nature, peace and quiet- you will love Ballycotton!

The bed was huge and extra comfortable!
The bed was huge and extra comfortable! The room had a view on the ocean and this was simply amazing! Pity the restaurant in the hotel is closed during the week.. this could be said more explicitly while booking. But there are nice places to go to eat nearby, like Pier 26! The food was simply amazing!

Great village, stunning location, awesome bars.
Great village, stunning location, awesome bars. If you love running as I do then take your running gear and go on a stunning run - I did and I wish all my runs were as beautiful as the one I had last weekend.

The focus of the village is on the harbour.
The focus of the village is on the harbour. Cliff top walks and a good base from which to explore nearby villages and beaches. Cork is not so far away - only 30 minutes to Cobh well worth a day visiting heritage sites, exhibitions and museums.
Garryvoe is a lovely hotel, I loved the location by the beach. The rooms are large and comfortable, you can completely open the windows which was great in the heatwave, fans were available to cool down also. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is one of the nicest hotel pools I’ve seen with a long pool for lengths and the majority of the pool a good depth for kids, an outdoor hot tub and a little aqua jog pool. I lovely the decor and choice of books in the bar, it was a very relaxing and comfortable space. Parking was plentiful.
Anna and Paddy were really helpful hosts and we loved staying at their B&B.
The room was lovely and spacious with a very comfortable bed.
Breakfast was gorgeous and very fresh!
The B&B is very close to Ballymaloe House and there are a number of local taxis that we could use to get back from the wedding we attended. It is also very easy to get to Ballycotton and Midleton from this house.
I would highly recommend that anyone looking to stay in this area stay in Sunville!
It was a very clean, well kept room. Its location above a pub on the main street in Ballycotton just added to the experience as we enjoyed hearing the music & night life through the dormer window. The complimentary breakfast down in the pub was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The dinner food in the pub was also good. We weren't sure what to expect from this stay but were glad we did it and would sty at this location again.
Absolutely beautiful. We had a lovely room with balcony and fantastic sea views. Room was very spacious and very comfortable. The hotel is spotless and the staff were so friendly.
We didn’t eat there but definitely next time. Taghy the bartender was a credit to the hotel.
I would definitely recommend a visit to the hotel.
The proprietors were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our stay included a great breakfast, served even on days when the pub/restaurant was not open. I lost our room key and the owner provided another - when I asked to pay for it, he simply said "it happens". Could not have been nicer, offered good suggestions as well.
Pat was a great host.....very welcoming, always positive; we missed meeting Anna ! Breakfast was fabulous, lot of space for parking, small pantry outside room was a great facility; so peaceful and beautiful and yet could reach other places to sightsee in 20--40 mins.... highly recommended
We loved everything: our room was perfect, quiet with a comfortable bed and great bedding.
The staff were amazing—- always going out if tbeir way to be helpful and enhance your stay. The restaurant needs no description—-wonderful food cooked with great love and care.
I have a long association with the hotel since before our wedding reception there over fifty years ago. We were both born in East Cork and Garryvoe was a frequent haunt. It is always good to revisit and revive the memories of "Happy Days".
Great location in the centre of Ballycotton village opposite the Blackbird Pub. Friendly and helpful hosts. Very comfortable beds with clean comfortable room. Great full Irish Breakfast.
Nice room, clean. Dinner in the restaurant is nice. Advised to book a table for dinner. We were visiting the cookery school, the hotel is 5 minutes away so is ideal. Plenty of parking.
Nice spot for a family or group. Area is quiet Monday and Tuesday but gets busier later in the week.
Nice big house and nice restaurants in ballycotton and around
