Very cozy wooden country house, very atmospheric. I really liked that I had my personal kitchen with all the supplies. Territory around was amazing — jungles, river, very green. And staff was sooo polite — they met me so I don’t get lost, helped me with bags, always stayed in touch in WhatsApp. And they let me to check out later. Really liked living here.

Breakfast is fantastic and the staff also. We love Daywat from the reception. He was always very friendly and interested. He brought us also to the airport and was very helpful.

The room was clean, smelled good and had everything one could need. The bed was possibly the most comfortable I have ever experienced, even better than 5 star hotels! The pillow was great, mattress was perfect and bed linen was soft.

Welcoming guests with modern accommodation and three outdoor pools, Papillon Echo Beach is situated in the Canggu Beach district in Canggu. The villa is 200 metres from Echo Beach.

For us it was just a stop over as we were heading north after dropping family at the airport in the afternoon and I don’t like driving over the mountains at night on the way to Singaraja.Nothing to see there just used car lots but across the road was a supermarket and a couple of warungs for local food.There is no restaurant at the hotel,both Kuta and Canggu are a 45 minute drive away from hotel if you are familiar with gojek delivery you can order food in and there is a kitchen by the pool where you can eat in pleasant surroundings. It is 3stars but 5stars for value for money.Will definitely use this hotel for our stopover place in the future.

What to improve: Grun should do fogging for insects regularly. The insects in this place were unbelievable there were too many. And most importantly, we found more than 5 tomcats inside the bath room and bed room! It’s very dangerous for family who come with kids.
