loved loved loved the location close to absolutely everything - close to the airport, the beach, Uluwatu St shopping, local family-run eateries (and the food generally was great). despite that it was quiet. the staff made our stay really lovely - so helpful and happy but shout out to the manager and his karaoke skills - made it a fun stay! I would totally recommend The Fox.

The room was really spacious, with a lot of furniture - night table, working table, shelves, and a sitting area in the room, and also in the terrace. You get bathtoom extras - comb, toothbrush and a paste.... Everyday cleaning and changing towels. Nice and friendly staff. Very close to Sidewalk food market and other shops.

Our room was amazing. It was immaculately clean, huge and beautiful. As it was my birthday, staff went above and beyond with a happy birthday banner, cake, and hand made birthday card in the room. At breakfast, they all wished me happy birthday and went out of their way to make my day special. Breakfast was brilliant and the options were fabulous. I wish I had stayed here longer.

Jimbaran stands out in an increasingly busy Bali. It's a much shorter trip from the airport so you get more time to enjoy it with less stress. The sand is less volcanic and the waters less challenging. The dining opportunities are unique and worth the visit alone. If you want to enjoy a more peaceful Bali of the old days, this is the destination for you.

There is no sidewalks and walking with children is extremely dangerous
Bookings.com recommended this area as family friendly and I'd strongly disagree my children 9 16 18 and 20 found the area to be extremely overwhelming and scary

Jimbaran is very accommodating because it is next to the airport, by following the beach road you can avoid a lot of the traffic towards Uluwatu.
The atmosphere in Jimbaran is still very local, unlike Canggu or Seminiak.
So this has its advantages and disadvantages. Authenticity must be appreciated.

Hotel has rooms on the main floor. Rooms with patio doors open onto cute little swimming pool. Hotel across the path like street has a nice restaurant for breakfast. Or you can dine in the restaurant on site of this hotel. Caution it is tricky walking on streets at night time.
The upshot of having our flights cancelled was a serendipitous 2-night stay at Jimbaran Bay Beach Resort. It was the perfect place to finish a two week Bali trip, across the road from the beach and numerous beach-side restaurants. The restaurant served excellent food overall, with the breakfast selection a highlight, while the rooftop bar had stunning sunset views overlooking the sea. The pool and wellness centre were also top-notch as were the rooms and service. Highly recommended.
Breakfast : There was a variety of dishes to choose from (although we didn't eat breakfast everyday because we had to leave early for tours)
Beach: Was walking distance, very good proximity and view of the beach/bay was amazing.
Room: View of the bay from the room.
Spa was great and value for money although the policy on cancellation was harsh because if you cancelled last minute then they would charge you full price.
I think this hotel deserves a higher rating than it actually has: Comfortable and clean rooms, very comfortable beds and pillows, kind and helpful personnel, beautiful garden, sufficient breakfast, proximity to the beach (170 meters) and to some of the best seafood warungs of Jimbaran. Their “superior room” is a bit small for double occupancy, though. So take the deluxe or premium room if you are not a solo traveller.
We stayed here for 2 nights. Really loved the eclectic and periodic look and style of this place. It's really beautiful. Right opp to intercontinental hotel. Close to Jimabaran beach and 30-40 mins away from beaches and temple in uluwatu.
Special thanks to Ina. She really went extra miles to help me with things I needed. Another girl at the reception was really helpful and kind. Great hospitality for sure.
Staff were incredibly attentive. Our room was upgraded and decorated for our honeymoon. We had breakfast at the beach one day and at the hotel another, both were good. Beach was good and it was nice having quick transport there. We walked a couple times and it is very close. We also ate at the restaurant for dinner which was great. Room was nice and very clean.
The best part of the room was the air con and balcony view. The room itself had everything I needed for a short stay and the bed was comfortable. The location might not be for everyone but I liked it because it was in a friendly local neighbourhood and I would change between Jimbaran and Nua Dusa beaches. The caretaker/owner was very helpful and accommodating.

We stayed in March for 3 nights. The deco was amazing . The staff were friendly . The room amenities were lovely . The lift to Jimbaran bay in a vintage car was lovely . It was such a unique hotel that has such potential but just falls short in areas . Considering there are so many options in Bali , they need to improve .
Nice Hotel with friendly and helpful staff (great room upgrade), awesome pool (try the rooms with direct pool access), good breakfast included, lokal beach in walking distance (but better you get a scooter/ taxi to the south end of Jimbaran beach which is much cleaner and has lots of restaurants with amazing sea food)
The hotel was overall very good everything was up to the standards but it was a bit pricey.
The facilities, amenities, the pools and the private beach were the best things in this hotel we liked the ocean beach pool and Kubu beach a lot we went to them twice.
The hotel is close to the airport and is walking distance from Jimbaran beach. The staff is very polite, helpful and accommodating to guests requests. The hotel is also situated in a quiet locality which allows guests to relax in peace.
Beautiful resort with good facilities and amazing pools. Beds were large and very comfortable. Staff were very warm and welcoming. Great that facilities in both RIMBA and AYANA can be used. Kubu beach is amazing!
