We had a really great stay there. The family is so lovely. The food is very good and quite different. Mostly it is vegetarian with some fish. So its perfect for vegetarian. Everything worked well and we enjoyed it there so much. It is like you are in your own family. We would go there again.

Food is fantastic, delicious authentic Indonesian food with frequent fish dishes. The bungalows look directly out onto the water and there is so much to see from your veranda.
Beser Bay has a beautiful combination of saltwater mangroves, seagrass field and coral reefs- I don't think many Raja Ampat homestays can offer this huge variety of things to see while snorkelling. We saw a vast range of aquatic wildlife and also lots of birds. The bay is too shallow to snorkel at midday but this is a secret boon because it encourages you to sit on the veranda and watch all the amazing wildlife.

Surrounded by mangroves- this is a place for nature lover.
The resident couscous- Paula is too cute.
You can walk to the village for a little exploration.
Paulus is an amazing host and guide. His family runs the place and are hospitable. He has two boats and can help manage guests day tour very well plus he took great underwater pictures during trips and shares with guests (free of cost!)
The place is ideal for people who are keen to relax and appreciates privacy or smaller groups.

Home stay located in a wonderful place, good food with even a snack, good bathroom with soap and also 2 outdoor showers, bungalow with mosquito net and fan. But what makes the difference is Aron! He manages the home stay together with his family, born in Gam, speaks English and knows the place very well. We went on wonderful excursions with him, he was super helpful in adapting the excursions according to our requests. On all excursions he came with us, explained things to us, snorkeled with us. Excellent bird and animal screwer!

We had a great time at Bruno raja ampat. We were warmly welcomed by Farrah and her family.
Farrah prepared us very good food, with typical specialities.
The home stay is just in front of the jetee of sauwandarek, on the beach. It’s great for snorkeling. There is a wide variety of fishes, corals and many sea turtles. We are in a small village quiet and very welcoming.
We really enjoyed our stay and we recommend this address.

Listening to our host's recommendations for places to see and what to do. We didnt follow a pre-scheduled list from online sources. We let local knowledge be our guides. This enhanced our experience.
Embrace the food. Its tasty, its home cooked. Its local catch of the day, locally sourced fruits and vegetables. On one tour, Paulus our host pulled up to a boat and bought a fish. On our plates that evening!

Love the simple local life, nice to support the local Islanders. One major problem is, there isn't any recycling for plastic bottles etc. I spoke with some of the elders about this, but they simply said nothing has been organized to recycle rubbish especially plastic bottles. Definitely needs to be addressed. Marine life is so beautiful there.
