It's hard to evaluate this property. Villa Stefan is beautifully designed but now slightly run down. Food, apart from breakfast is not available. You need a car to access local restaurants. However, the staff are completely charming and try very hard to please.

Not many great hotels as all old ones are quite run down !
But few new excellent options have come up like Novus Jiva / Aston / Double G etc and they have great facilities and view settings.
Chose depending on what you like......resort setting Or beach ??
This is not Bali Or Phuket ...so don't raise your expectations too high !
Few nice sea-food joints opposite Marbella and along the stretch...can't remember the names as all look similar !
It's a relatively new hotel in anyer and the building is well-maintaned. What I love about novus jiva is their friendly and responsive staff, so don't be shy to ask them for help. I got a free upgraded room to ocean view on the 5th floor, and the view was mesmerizing.
I can say that this is the best hotel I've ever stayed in, and I would love to visit novus jiva in the future.
We loved the pools at the hotel and the beach, and the beach itself. It never felt very busy even though it was fully booked, The hotel layout is spacious. Coffee in the rooms is good. Balcony is nice with a good view. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good shuttle service to the beach.
I never been to other hotels in Anyer, the room we stayed was a villa kind of rooms with private pool, spacious room and bathroom which are great.
We can directly sight the quiet seaview from our room. There are public pools and playing area for kids, too

NoVis Jiva is set in a stunning location (directly opposite Krakatoa) and is a beautiful hotel with spacious areas. The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had and the food in general was superb.
Amazing hotel, various facilities (private beach, 2 infinity pools, game room, kids club, roof top, gym, etc), huge area, excellent service and very warm staffs, yummy foods, perfect!
View of the cottage directly to the sea. Also the private beach so we can play in the sea anytime and not too crowded at this time, maybe because not many people stay in the hotel
Good value for money. The apartment is part of a complex that has a nice swimming pool with bar/restaurant and direct access to the middle of Anyer beach. Nice for families.
