Single room was great. Small but all you need with airco and own bathroom/toilet. Very clean. The hosts were very nice and although i only speak a bit of German (and no Hungarian) communication was no problem.

Perfect. Above average furnished 2+1 apartment with terrace. Nothing was missing at all. Ideal for a family holiday (300 m from the beach sa marina, restaurant and bakery next door). Private pool in the property. Large terrace with jacuzzi. Also suitable for the business meetings we had there.

Great for family vacation to visit the area and enjoy the lakeside for 3-5 days.
You can spend half days visiting area and half days at the beach.
Lake is shallow (1,2m deep) for over 150m from shore. Grass beach is excellent for games and relaxing. Restaurants and shops on the beach.
You can easily discover the Balaton Lake area from here.
There is a view tower with lake museum 12 min drive away. It also has a nice playground for kids.
Ferry crossing to Tihany peninsula can be reached by ferry which is 25min from the village. Nice experience for children.
Tihany village is beautiful, with nice view over lake. Excellent restaurant for lunch.
Szigligeti Castle is about 1h20mim drive away. Great ruin to visit with children. Steep climb, interesting explanations on the history of the region and castle.
At the bottom of the castle is the best ice cream shop of all the lake area :).

A clean, tidy, friendly place at lake Balaton, with a huge, clean, green, well-kept free beach and a good restaurant (Kistücsök). The prices are very good, too. There are enough sights that even in case of bad weather you can kill time without getting bored.
atmosphere, the interior design, location – so near by the beautiful shoreline. thoughtful details & well equipped with everything you need, even extras such as a picnic blanket, made our stay very very comfortable. the Village Szemes beats all the other ones on the same shore hands down, much cuter and more authentic while at the same time very well kept
Everything was excellent! The train station was very near, the shop was very near, the beach was also very near. I traveled very easily all around the lake from the Balatonszemes station. The apartment was clean, the beds were very comfortable, all possible kitchen appliances one could possibly need were provided.
Great location, new hotel with spacious room and quality finishings. Totally enjoyed the indoor pool and SPA area, which is opened from 9:00 to 18:30. Checkin is 24h/7, which is great if you are in transit. Breakfast was included and was good.
