Very friendly hosts and great place to stay. It is clean and well equipped. The garden is beautiful and the free parking is really convient.
Just note the appartment is underground, so there is not much light especially on rainy days - but since we were mostly out, it was not a big issue.

Lovely place, very relaxing and in the middle of nature. We loved it. The waterfalls in the city are less spectacular than in the nearby park of Plitvice but it is nonetheless worth spending some time enjoying them.
We would also recommend restaurant Petro, which is excellent.

A city with an incredible and rich history.
A city with an incredible and rich history. Very accessible by road, only about a hundred kilometers from Zagreb. By visiting the walking routes, you can see from several historical buildings and locations to incredible nature along the river Slunjčica, Korana and the beautiful waterfalls of Rastoke. Rastoke is definitely a must-see. The town offers several excellent restaurants and shops with locally produced food. I definitely recommend a visit.

The accommodation is situated in an elevated and prime location, within walking distance of a major attraction, It is just down some stairs and across the road from the natural wonder known as Rastoke. It is a quiet location, the air is fresh and the environment is pristine.
The room was of a high standard and the property is well maintained.

We visited and explored Rastoke. Parking is unforunately very limited, we tried to pay for parking but did not find any option to pay by credit card or cash. We did not have data since we travelled from Canada. We parked at the bottom/the end of the road and did not pay for parking. Luckily we did not get ant ticket.

Unbelievable place!
Unbelievable place! The old town built totally on the river and over the waterfalls!
Like in Moovie!
We were just returning from Plitvicke jezera and didn’t know about this village!
We needed to stay somewhere on the road and I read about Slunj!
Next day we spent walking over the beautiful waterfalls and between ancient houses and historical watermills💙

In season full of restaurant/conoba/ in Croatian.

Big apartman with a lot of space, good kitchen facilities (there was everything you need to cook, including oil, salt). Also coffee and tea is available.

Very nice hosts, they waited us with prepared local spirit and there was a cold beer and water in the fridge. Aleksandra also brought us fresh, home made cakes and pancakes which were delicious.
For our little one was there a prepared baby crib.
The location was perfect right in the middle of Rastoke with water all aound the property. Infact the property is built on the river with a 6 m waterfall right behind the bedroom. The sound of the water was soothing. the property owner was very welcoming and friendly. she greeted us with a shot of brandy. She even offered help to buy some souvenirs and indicated best restaurants in the village. She let us use her private parking to put our rental car. I highly recommend this property for everything.

The house is only 3 minutes from the Slunj bus station, it has a beautiful and private garden, the bathroom is big and the bed is very comfortable!!
The owner is very nice and friendly!! He even offered us some local shots when we arrived.
you can go to Rastoke by foot and there’s a beautiful hiking track behind this house.

This is an amazing guesthouse just off the center of slunj. It is perfectly located: 10 minutes walk from the bust station and restaurants, 10 minutes walk from rastoke waterfalls and swimming area. The WiFi is excellent and the rooms silent and comfortable. The hosts are lovely and always ready to help, and the property is wheelchair accessible. There is also parking in front of the house. We will definitely be back!
The room was located close to both the main attraction - Rastoke and the centre of Slunj, but still enough far away from the main road with lots of traffic. As for the room, it was cozy and had everything one would need for a longer stay... Marija, the hostess, was really nice and both she and her mum living next door made me feel really welcome - looking forward to visit again 🙂
This is a fantastic spot with wonderful hosts! The house and room are beautifully done and there is a wonderful garden area to relax. It's within walking distance to Rastoke and there are several great restaurants to choose from. It's a great place for visiting Plitvice early in the morning before it gets crowded. I highly recommend this place!
The apartment was super clean, modern and really close to the main part of Slunj.
We had an awesome time and always had the opportunity to contact the owners in cause we would need something.
10/10 recommend to stay in Rooms Garden if you’re planing to visit Slunj, Rastoke or the Plitvicer lakes.

Host was kind and offered great advice for local dining and directions. Location was fantastic with the Rastoke town and waterfalls very closeby. The apartments have a small garden behind, which my kids loved exploring and identifying different fruits and vegetables. Convenient driving distance to the Plitvice Lakes as well.
The location is wonderful. Just a few minutes by car from Rastoke. The hotel is in a quiet location. There is a summer outdoor swimming pool. The rooms are clean and new. Comfortable blankets and pillows, the mattress is a little hard. Good parking. Wi-fi perfect. Warm welcome.
Best location in Rastoke, with a truly exceptional garden, in fact the best garden of any hotel I have ever stayed at! Rooms were cosy, clean and comfortable. Our double room had a view of the river going by. Staff were friendly and helpful.
