Green, beautiful location with vast beach, clear waters and pure air. Perfect if you like swimming with a mask.
I didn't expect food variety, but it was very tasty and well-made and different every day (breakfast was standard, but lunch and dinner varied)
Rooms were alright, but we didn't spend too much time there - the hotel and surrounding area is good for sports, swimming, walking, adventuring.
There is a boat trip to nearby islands (Elafiti) going from hotel pier, it was worth the money and time, fantastic experience.
The place is very safe, the guests are civilized. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel is far from things, but you can walk by the shoreline to Slano, a town nearby, ~30 min. You can also use hotel's bikes. Slano has some nice landmarks worth checking out - Rector's palace, Banja beach (take your swimsuit!), Heritage house. From Slano you can go to Dubrovnik by bus. (check Dubrovnik pass online before going!)

This was such great value for money, in a clean and spacious room with aircon. For Slano, this was a good price compared to other accommodation that did not have an en suite bathroom or mini kitchen. Marija is a lovely host who was very helpful. Beautiful view from the balcony and a few steps from the rectors palace.
Apartments Mozara is quietly set 700 metres from the centre of Slano. Featuring free Wi-Fi and air-conditioned accommodation, it offers a garden with a terrace and barbecue facilities.

I had a fantastic experience at this apartment! It's conveniently located just 5 minutes from the beach and a 10-minute walk to the city center. The owners were absolutely lovely and welcoming. They offer a delicious breakfast with fresh items like bread, fruits, and coffee. The rooms were clean and equipped with air conditioning. The neighborhood is beautiful and peaceful, and the garden is stunning.

We stayed in Slano for a week in mid-October.
We stayed in Slano for a week in mid-October. Slano was almost deserted and very quiet. We hiked along the seashore in both directions and also climbed higher to the top of the peninsula. It is possible to swim almost anywhere by the sea. The water was about 22 degrees Celsius in mid-October. Although there was a special very strong warm wind on two days, there were no big waves in Slano Bay. We visited Trsteno Arboretum (located near Slano) on a very windy and cloudy day. We only visited a part of it (we didn't climb down to the sea), but for a northern European, dense bamboo groves, very powerful pine trees, etc. were an experience. There are nearly 500 species of trees and plants in the park, but those who are not interested in plants and are in a hurry may find the park uninteresting.

Super cute little town. Local bread/bakery shop is a must.
Super cute little town. Local bread/bakery shop is a must. We also had breakfast at a local place which was a buffet.
We did get a ticket since we didn't pay to park. We never saw a sign stating this spot was for pay. Make sure you check your area. Parking ticket was 10 Euros. Have no idea how we pay this since we are on vacation.

Dreadful accommodation (read my Review on Booking.com).
Dreadful accommodation (read my Review on Booking.com). The cleaner / hostess was wonderful, but the actual accomodation was dreadful. The 2 units that we were using (had to be moved) were in a bad state of disrepair. The owner needs to spend a bit of money to get them even to a ‘reasonable’ standard.
We were VERY disappointed. Would never stay here again.

Lovely little town, ideal as a stopover point for a few days...
Lovely little town, ideal as a stopover point for a few days before catching a flight out of Dubrovnik which is what we used it for. Gives time to relax for a few more days. Quite when we were there (mid October) but I would assume a bit busier in peak season.
A minor downside are the cruise ships that moor up over night, they can be a little noisy and some of their guests have little concern for others staying in the area. These tend to be at the weekends.
My wife and myself, we enjoyed a fantastic week staying in Apartments Ratac Lobrovic. Marina and Antun welcomed us with outstanding hospitality and perfect recommendations for visiting Dubrovnik, Slano and Ston area. Dubrovnik is about a 30 min car drive. The Apartments (very clean, quiet and comfortable) are owning a private beach for enjoying sun, swimming, stand up paddling and others in the Adria sea. We used the private beach every day - the sunset offers every night a unique experience.
The location is within walking distance to the village of Slano. The apartment itself is very modern, fully equipped and very well maintained. The apartment was truly spotless clean on our arrival. There was a basket of fruit, local treats and a bottle of wine awaiting us on our arrival. The host was very flexible with out arrival time. I can't recommend this apartment enough if you are looking for somewhere beautiful to stay which is an easy drive from Dubrovnik/Ston.
My hosts could not have been more gracious. I was offered a cold beer upon arrival, and the breakfast served each morning is delicious, including fresh omelets from their own hens and fresh squeezed orange juice. The rooms are quiet and have great air conditioning, though it wasn't really needed; Slano is nice and cool compared to downtown Dubrovnik! For my next trip to Croatia, I plan to make Slano our hub and will absolutely stay here again. Highly, highly recommend.
This is an amazing location to stay in Croatia! Clean, modern, beautifully decorated, and spacious. etc The view is superb and you have a private beach right across the not so populated street. Beach bikes were also available and it was amazing riding them to get to different parts of the lake or the grocery store in town. Absolutely loved the bikes.
Great host and easy to check in. Not a self-check-in. You are greeted by the owner, a very sweet lady. Thank you!!
Was blown away by this property, did not expect it to be so big and spacious. We got a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 big spacious bathrooms and a lot of extras including an iron ironing board sandwich maker etc. was an absolutely amazing stay would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Slano. Staff wore an absolute delighted couldn’t be any nicer and so welcoming. Thank you very much for your hospitality
The apartment has a perfect location, it is directly on the seaside. There is a big tarrace and sun beds that we could use. If you prefer beaches, there is one that you can reach in 5 min on foot. In the Town nearby you can find great restaurants and a supermarket. Good place If you would like to do 1 day trips. In exampl3 Dubrovnik is just an hour drive.
We got a very nice room with a great view and the place was very quiet and comfortable. Like many hotels, checkin and out was a process, but the staff was friendly. We opted to leave for a bite to eat in Dubrovnik, which is not too far of a drive. We had a pleasant and comfortable stay, and our room had some nice touches.
Wonderful place, very close to the seaside, the apartment with a breathtaking window view, super kind and hospitable Hosts (Eva and Mira <3)... and we could list only the positives forever. Our stay was absolutely perfect. Slano - one of the best places we have ever been to, we highly recommend it!
We spent here 3 nights (3 people) and we liked it. It was clean, had 2 ACs, had all dishes and glasses we needed. Big plus was a swimming pool just outside. Communication with owner was online, works perfectly. Apratment is 30 min away from Dubrovnik with car, but there is daily bus transfer too.
The studio is beautiful, everything was excellent quality and extremely comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped, the bathroom is very spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Loved the veranda with the sea view. The location is fabulous for the local beach and the lovely Slano harbour.
The apartment is beautiful. Everything was new and clean. The equipment is very good, there is everything you need. The hostess was very nice and accommodating. I can recommend. It must be taken into account that Slano is a quieter place with adequate facilities.
The host is very friendly, they take care of everything & offer sometimes products from their beautiful garden, location very close to Harbour & you can take bus to Dubrovnik.
Comfortable beds & clean sanitary.
Thanks for everything!
Warm hospitality from the owner.
