There is lots of things to do in Poreč. It's a lovely town with strong italian influence and the food is amazing. The access to the sea is sometimes difficult, so you need to pick the right spot. There is always something to do, so you will not get bored.

It's easy to walk round Porec - though it's a bit of a maze, so if you see something you like in a shop buy it there and then, or you might not find the shop again! We went on an evening boat trip with the company Monvi Tours - this was excellent - very friendly staff, and we even saw dolphins! We'd also recommend the Barolin Wine and Cheese Bar on Nikola Tesla street - for delicious Malvazija wine and a good range of fabulous Istrian cheeses. And excellent Istrian olive oil.

City Poreč is so beautifull city, and so diversable.
City Poreč is so beautifull city, and so diversable. You can have sporty vacation for all the beautiful with bike lanes between Green ian Blue Lagoon, so many walking paths under pine trees, numberous activities. You can be at the beach with lots of activities and loud music, or you can quickly find a quiet privat peace of beach, it really offers you what your heart desires. For the best local food experiance, I suggest Bacchus Vinoteka, in the old part of town.

Our initial impression was negative.
Our initial impression was negative. So much traffic and tourists, and a lot of industry put us off. But the old town blew us away! So full of character, ambience and history. Highly recommended, even if it's just for a day trip.

The restaurants provide little diversity of dishes
The restaurants provide little diversity of dishes
The is surely another way to prepare fish other then on a grill and served with washed out blitva and its not cheap either - low value for money
The shops sell cheap goods and clothing
The overpolulated icecream vendors and lack of healthy alternative
The waiters callling out for customers is ugly
Overall food and accomodation far too expensive relative to quality provided
Poor public WC facilities near city beaches considering tourist population

Beautifull little town with vibrant atmosphere.
Beautifull little town with vibrant atmosphere. The beaches were absolutely well organized and well taken care off. But everything is extremely overpriced and very expensive in compare with the previous year.
An oasis away from the hoards of tourists in old town Porec. Amazing welcome from Katerina who due to damage to our original booking generously upgraded us to a beautiful suite. Arriving by bicycle on the Parenzana we found a safe designated path alongside the main road with an easy trip into and from the old town and beaches. The food at breakfast and dinner was delicious and very abundant. After morning tours we enjoyed the pool and it’s relaxing space.
Our bikes were well stored and to top it all our clothes were washed free of charge.
The location: with a car you can park easily in Porec and go swim within minutes (city beach or near the basilica). Porec can be quite noisy and full of tourists in the evening so it's nice to have a good and quiet place to eat dinner (at the hotel). It's also convenient to drive towards Pazin, Rovinj, etc. Nature is beautiful, there's a beautiful dog. People managing this family hotel were very nice and helpful. The food is excellent, wonderful products, be it meat fish pasta or vegetables.
The hotel is right on the water in the town Porec. we had a room with a beautiful sea view balcony. lots of restaurants, bars, and shops right there. the breakfast every morning was good quality and delicious with plenty of variety. The staff was kind and our room was very clean. Free access to the Valamar island, beaches and pool with lounge chairs and umbrellas, and beach towels to include transportation between Porec and the island. we LOVED spending our days enjoying the island.
This was a great location if you have a car to the old town, can see the ocean from the balcony.
One room with kitchen, dining, bedroom.
Huge modern bathroom! Excellent
It was comfortable, eclectic!
Large balcony to have breakfast overlooking front of property, not a pretty but rural scenic- lots of greenery.
We felt it was comfortable for overnight stay but a bit expensive comparing to same price range when trading for a month in Croatia.
The hotel is located in a beautiful place, near the harbour. Helpful staff, comfortable rooms, great and rich breakfast and dinner. The swimming pool is clean and perfect to relax. The beach is very close to the hotel, Porec is within 10 minutes drive. The rooms are cleaned in every day, the towels are changed regularly as well. One of the best place I have ever been. I suggest this accommodation warmly for families and couples.
The hotel staff were very helpful by storing our suitcase while we went to Venice for 2 nights. Breakfast was very good and the morning we left for Venice - at 6.30am! - we were provided with a 'breakfast box'. The hotel was right on the sea front and we really enjoyed having other breakfasts on the terrace overlooking the sea. The hotel was very close to the centre of Porec which itself is a lovely town.
Beautiful location and views, delicious dinners with wine and beer, wonderful terrace, many trees, sizable pool, our room was cleaned every day, generally the hotel was very clean, kindly staff, every evening was shows with live music, comfortable and spaciest parking with many trees, very low price for parking, beautiful part of Croatia, the hotel definetely was worth this money.
One of the best locations in Porec, right in the middle of Old Town. The owner (who lives upstairs) personally received us and gave a lot of tips of where to eat and what to do. He was very kind and always available for extra tips and any help we needed. The apartment had everything we needed for the 5 nights we stayed.
The hotel is located on a peninsula in a relatively private park. There are many facilities on-site such as various sports fields, a pool, and a few restaurants. The staff is friendly and caring. Each townhouse has a relatively large lawn. The beach has quite a few showers and changing cabins.
good location
great view from balcony
great breakfast
staff very helpful
because we were staying at the Valamar we could get a ferry (free) over to an island which had another Valamar hotel. We also got free umbrella with 2 lounges right on the beach with fantastic swimming.
Amazing location with the sea all around. Lots of swimming and sunbathing spots. Lots of sports centres along the coast hire bikes and it's a really easy ride into Porec which has a beautiful old town and lots of ice cream shops. Buffet food was supperb with lots of variety.
Large hotel just outside Porec (20 min walk), large comfortable room (junior suite), ample parking.
Friendly staff, ample choise at breakfast and lunch of good quality.
Large outdoor pool with sun beds.
The hotel overall was very nice, close to the beach and the beach was very family-friendly. The water was lovely. Everything was clean and the hotel staff was friendly. The food was pretty good overall.
Pool, food, location. Is worth to visit. We extended our stay for three days because was great! This is all inclusive hotel. Awesome rooms. AND DRINKS ALL YOU CAN DRINK))....for sure I am coming back!
Apartment was very comfortable, very clean, near by beach, shops, restaurants, tennis courts, promenade for walking, walking distance from Poreč centrum.
