The views from the hotel room are simply outstanding. The hotel is unique in its construction. It is perched on top of a small rocky hill amidst surrounding hills and the beautiful river. You have to enter it through a tunnel. An elevator is built by tunnelling through the rock. The whole feeling and experience is out of the world. This was a memorable stay.

Great host family, delicious breakfast, good location with a private parking lot, a short walk to the beach and supermarkets and restaurants. The room was very clean and the large balcony offered a fantastic view. We would definitely come back again!

Small place, too crowded, everything walkable.
Many supermarkets, restaurants and shops.
Some tourist attractions, impossible to visit in the hot water, for example to climb to the castle on the top of the mountain.
Rafting on Cetina river was amazing.
One can take boat trip on the Cetina canyon.
The beach is open, with umbrellas and sunbeams too. Clean water to swim.

We picked Omis because of the activities that were available there and we were not disappointed. We did rafting, a speedboat tour to the blue cave and some islands, ziplining, trip to Krka National park and jet skis. We were going to do canyoning but decided on a beach day instead. If/when we return we will also do a boat ride up the river and hire a boat and go across to some islands. Our 17 year old sun did not get bored! The old town is lovely, although very busy. There are many restaurants that were all very nice. Most sold the same sorts of food consisting of a range of meat and fish/seafood dishes as well as pasta and pizza. Some of them specialised a bit but we all ate well every night for a reasonable price. There are also a few souvenir shops and shops selling beach items.
Be aware fruit is expensive at the stalls. One nectarine was 3 euros. We spent 38 euros on 4 nectarines, 2 plums, 1/4 watermelon and some grapes and a significant amount had to be thrown away. Other than that the food is reasonably priced with several small supermarkets throughout Omis.
Whilst a guide on one of our trips considered the beaches to be sandy, they are not what we think of as sandy- more shingle mixed with sand. Think builders sand. Saying this, the beaches were clean and the sea is crystal clear and we still spent time there and would return.
You can pay by card in the restaurants and supermarkets but the activities, food stalls and small shops were cash only. Not a problem in itself but we wished we had gone prepared for this as it meant we had to take cash out of the ATM a few times.
Public toilets cost 1 euro to use. This can add up if your out for the day and there are a few of you.
Overall a great place to be. we would recommend and return here.

Omis is an amazing location for people (singles, couples or families) who are looking to explore Croatia's amazing country side by doing as little or as much as you want. There is an abundance of activities which are aimed at varying levels of fitness with some activities more suited to those adrenaline junkies. Would recommend visiting during the summer time but would still be amazing during autumn or spring.

Good place to stay if you don't like crowded tourist places.
Good place to stay if you don't like crowded tourist places. The city is charming. It has everything one may need - historical Old Town, sunny beaches, restaurants and cafes, magnificent mountains and river.
Its location is good to explore the surroundings.
The apartment has an excellent location, in the center of Omis, in the old town, right under the Mirabela fortress. Everything is on your doorstep: restaurants, shops, bakery... The beach is about 5 minutes walk.
The apartment is spacious, comfortable and very clean. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. The bathroom is very nicely renovated.
Be aware that the apartment is in a pedestrian zone, so you will need to leave your car in a car park situated about 300 m from the apartment. (You receive a parking card so you can park for free.)
We had an amazing experience. Starting from the location to the attention to details... Everything was brand new and of high quality. The communication with the host was impeccable. Dunja took care that our stay would be unforgettable. She arranged for the parking to be already paid for the entire visit. Then she expected us with cold drinks in the fridge. I have to stress the attention to detail again... we haven't seen this even in a 5-star hotel.
We would definitely return to stay here in our next visit to Omis.
- amazing and willing host
- stunning view from balcony
- fragrant appartment
- privacy (no neighbours above you and next to you when you are in upper appartment)
- peacefull place (although next to Jadranska magistrala, it does not bother you, even not at night. Good sleep)
- nierby restaurants and shop
- Netflix
- beatyfull nearby beaches with not many people
- comfortable parking next to main street
- a few moscitos compared to other parts of Croatia
- very good quality/price ratio.
For 10 years we have been going on vacation to Croatia. This was the best time we had of those 10 years. Chapeau. We give a 10.
The hosts are amazingly sweet people. They know the environment and can tell you all the great restaurants and places to go. The environment and location is iconic and beautiful. The apartment is luxurious, spacious, relaxing, clean and modern. The privatepool was a gift from the gods.
Fantastic hotel with amazing staff. The best choice for accommodation in Omis.
The hotel is beautiful, new building, the room was big enough, the bathroom was fantastic, and the view from the terrace... :)
We liked and enjoyed it very much.
The breakfast was excellent with big variety of choices. Also the a'la carte dishes in the hotel restaurant were the best in the town.
This gorgeous apartment just outside old Town Omis was truly spectacular.(we walked into old town, it's close) From its spacious kitchen and TV area to the amazing view and balcony, the large and well equipped bathroom, this place is a dream and has it all. The host was very kind and helpful as well. I will definitely be back. Such a sweet spot! Book while you can!
Great apartment with stunning sea view. Very good location just few steps from the beach. Sylvia, our host was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Always there for us, whatever we needed. Thank you Sylvia, you've made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed every minute. This was our first holiday in Croatia, and we will definitely be back.
Nice apartment, unusual design of kitchen off the terrace, we liked it. Clean and comfortable. Nice host, they carried our cases. 20m from bus stop to Split. We tried to stay longer but were full. Easy flat walking to old town and supermarkets. Easy parking at the door. Omis is beautiful with lots to do.
Clean appartments, good location not far from the center, parking on the garden. Rooms are a bit small, but well equiped with all we needed. Nice sandy beach just across the street. We got discout to our favourite restaurant in Omiš. The owner Sanda and her family was very friendly. Great communication.
This was our 4th stay at Sagitta and we will return once again:) perfect location, good food, quiet place in spite it's a big hotel. We always rest here perfectly. This time we stayed at bungalows, the one we had was renovated and very nice, bright, well equipped. Good value for money.
Wonderful, peaceful location. A 3 bedroom bungalow with pool. We enjoyed our stay here. Fresh mountain air. Away from crowds. Easy access to Omis, and some wonderful restaurants along the river and on the mountains. The kind of place you can just stay and relax. Very friendly owners.
A modern hotel right on the beach in Omis. Staff were excellent and found me a safe park for my motorcycle out front of reception. Excellent restaurant with beach views. I would definitely stay here again when in Croatia.
The location was excellent. Easy to walk to a bakery (2 min), a grocery (4 min) and a sandy beach (10 min). The view is great. The outdoor terrace is spacious. The host speaks Croatian, German and Italian.
Loved absolutely everything enjoyed our weeks holiday!! Everything was perfect! The staff were very friendly & helpful. Transfers to and from the hotel was very good. On time no waiting about which was great

I’ve never been in better hotel in Croatia. I recommend this hotel to everybody. Nice hotel, great staff and perfect brakefast… p.s. If you are there, order cocktail by the pool and enjoy 😊
The hotel is nicely located and has a great view of the town. I would probably stay again and get a balcony again. Wine on the balcony with that view is not to be missed.
Fantastic views from the room.
Beach next to the hotel.
Modern and clean hotel - it’s almost newly built.
Quiet location.
Short drive to beautiful Omis.
