Barac Caves is the perfect place to chill, play area for children and three forest trails leading from the carpark. Exceptionally clean and plush toilets there too!

Perfect place to stay when visiting Plitvice lakes national park, i.e. only a short ride by car of 10-15 min. to entrance 1 as well as entrance 2 of the Plitvice national park. Several good restaurants as well to choose between.

Lovely countryside area. Close to Plitvice National Park. Also there are a lot of additional walks to be made in the area. If you enjoy riding a bike, the whole area can be explored by bike.
Also rafting and kayaking are an option for the area.

Easy to reach Plitvice which was a main reason for choosing this area. Local supermarket and great restaurants within easy reach. Easy to get around we drove out to Velebit for kayaking and to see the bears at Kuterevo Bear Refuge. Went to Barac caves and saw horseshoe bats, tried the local quad bike trail and visited Rastoke.
The hotel provides exactly what you'd expect: tidy, spacious rooms with coportable beds and everything in the bathroom that one needs. The staff in the hotel are very friendly (the pool staff even let us in before opening so we could enjoy it one more time before leaving). Breakfast in the morning was great, the waitress this time was very friendly, brought us everything we asked for (and more), the food was delicious too.
Overall a good stay for one night, handy for visiting Plitvice Lakes (by car).
Best place guaranteed to stay at when visiting the Plitvice Lakes National Park! The host was very friendly and helpful and the room was big, comfortable and super clean. The location couldn't have been better as it was close to the entrance to the park and in walking distance from a couple of wonderful restaurants. There were also many activities nearby such as horseback riding, quads, and adrenaline activity park and so on. Clean, beautiful, peaceful and convenient! Highly recommend!
The location is very close to Plitvice Lakes National Park. The host is super nice! He is very responsive to all communications and requests. He even let us check-out later than 10 am as we were heading to the airport that day. The rooms are brand new with minimalistic design that gives a luxurious feel. Very quiet environment as well. The views in front of the balconies look out into a green scenery of trees and offer a beautiful sunset. Highly recommend and will definitely come back!
The location is excellent, very close to Plitvice lakes, adventure sports, rastoke, good restaurants and market and local activities. The host was very friendly and helpful and had good suggestions for our weekend. The hot tub and pool was overall clean and relaxing. The area is beautiful and peaceful for a relaxing weekend. The room was clean and all facilities were as expected. Good availability of parking spots. We couldn't try the restaurant and breakfast buffet.
I highly recommend House Vukovic. Best value, 5 min from the ticket office and entrance 1 for Plitvice Lakes National Park. They even have a full kitchen you can use! I dropped my motorcycle and Ivan helped me pick it up. I was tired and mentally exhausted after a long day. Beautiful front yard, clean, hospitable. They even let me do a bag drop while I wandered the area so I didn’t need to lug everything around. I highly recommend staying here!
This was the best place we stayed in during our whole trip to Croatia. Zrinka and her daughter are extremely nice and helpful, perfect hostesses, with attention to the smallest details. The house is very beautiful and clean, equipped with everything you need. The breakfast is the BEST we had in a very long time, both healthy and delicious. We prepared ourselves sandwiches and some sweets for the hike and Plitvice. Highly recommended.
With easy access to Plitvice Lakes park, House Tina was a wonderful spot to stay. The owner was kind and welcoming and our bungalow was very comfortable. There is a small restaurant on site which is well priced and delicious. After a long day of hiking it was very convenient to eat there and enjoy the sunset over the pool. Breakfast was generous and again, fresh and locally made.
The hostess was very nice and welcoming. The apartment was super clean. If you drive a car, it is quite close to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Parking the car is a breeze - You have a private small parking lot right by the apartment. The price was unbeatable for what you got. If I'd go back to the area next time, I'll definitely stay there again.
This beautiful studio apartment was extremely spacious and had every amenity you could ask for. There was a coffee maker with plenty of coffee pods. The bathroom is beautiful and well as the view from the balcony. If going to Plitvice National Park, this is a fabulous home. The owner was also helpful and nice.

A nice compound conveniently located about 10 min drive to Plitvice lakes. Tiny but clean and comfy room, rich breakfast and most importantly beautiful setting in nature. You can rent a bike and do kayaking, horse riding activities in the vicinity as well. We loved it and would definitely come back.
Everything!! The staff was very polite and always there for us. The swimming pool helped us to cool of the heat. Less than 10 mins drive from Plitvice Lakes National Park. You can rent bicycles and ATVs at this property. Play area for the kids and a bonfire in the evening if it is too cold for you.

Cute home stay, lovely owner, clean. There is fully equipped kitchen were you can cook and sit in a the picnic table in the lovely garden. We enjoyed it a lot. Great value for money. We could even walk to the restaurant of the nearby hotel for dinner (10min)
