Baška is a beautiful town, slightly cramped by the beach, but very lovely to walk through and enjoy a good meal or delicious ice-cream. Many things to see in the vicinity as well - there are hiking trails, biking trails, as well as the historical Church of Sv. Lucija, Kastel Baška, etc. The beaches are nice, stretching from one end to another, there are plenty of local shops as well as a supermarket, with many restaurants offering great fish food.

A holiday town with a very large and comfortable beach (for Croatian standards) - gravel and sand. There are many good restaurants, interesting architecture, and many hiking trails that lead to other beaches worth seeing. Unfortunately, it is crowded in the summer because everyone wants to be on this nice beach.

Facilities are good: food, drink, playing stuff, entertainment, better than in Krk town.
Many small and bigger restaurants and bars with altering quality, but all in the range of acceptable to good. So you need to try and test.

The working staff at that beach are very friendly, at night on the beach side it looks like a small night market.
The view of the beach is stunning. I really enjoyed my stay and will recommend to everyone who is considering going to Croatia.

The town and its surroundings are very nice and off-season (April, Easter) has its own charm. No crowded beaches and head to head. Quiet and peaceful streets, a few open restaurants, a grocery store and a bakery. Hear birdsong and silence. :-)
Many sheep and in the port several cats.
In the surrounding area, there are beautiful options for moderately difficult hiking: Put na Mjesec, Vela Luka, Mala Luka, Ljubimer...

This was our second time in Baska and it was great to experience the town at the beginning of its low season.
True, some of the restaurants and bars were already closed, but the ones that were still open offered great service and food.
We recommend: Restoran Francesca (for fine dining), Restoran Bag (for breakfast - not the cheapest though), Kalum (for unpretentious good food), Restoran Franica (for a mildly sophisticated dining experience without blowing up the budget), Restoran Cicibela (try their fish platter for two and their fish stew), Delfino Pizzaria (for a quick and cheap bite).
The coffee at Caffe bar Atlantic comes with a beautiful view.
And don't miss out on trying all the wines at Wine Shop NADA Baska! The sparkling one was my favourite.
The hosts were extremely accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was varied and exceptionally good, best hotel breakfast I had in a long time! Swimming pool was clean and nice. Our room was on a ground floor with side-view of swimming pool, but we had no issues with noise or privacy. House is located about 15 min walk from beach Vela Plaza and center of the town, at the same time in a quite and pleasant place. Private parking just next to hotel was great. Air conditioner worked well. We would return any time!
Apartment was super clean, almost like new. We liked the location, close to big supercenter grocery store, gas station and 10 min walk to downtown and beach.
Kitchen was fully equiped with plenty of dishes, fridge and freezer, cooking stove and dishwasher. The only thing I'd add is microwave to heat up food.
Washing machine and detergent is also available at the ground floor for all guests. That was a very nice feature.
Natalia was very accomodating, she made sure everything is okay during our stay. We went out at one point at night and a guess from another apartment/hotel took our spot, even if it was 10 in the evening, they still help us with our parking. They also made sure to provide the electric kettle I was requesting, and also they are flexible with check in, even we came bit earlier than expected, they still check us in.
Perfect hotel location in the very picturesque bay surrounded by mountains, nice public beach right in front of the hotel with bars and cafes. Very good breakfasts and lunches, tasty and light white house wine, friendly personnel at the restaurant. Rooms are clean. Baška is a truly lovely village with an interesting history starting at the era of the Austro-Hungarian empire, very pleasant to walk through it
The apartment is brand new, modern yet comfortable. The host was really nice and helped us with our lugage. They prepared fruits, coffee and rakija to welcome us. We had two days of bad weather and they really tryed to make our time there worth it anyways. The city of Baška is also really pretty and together with this apartment our vacation was just perfect. Would recommend.
The hotel was really nice, beautiful room design and also very clean in our suite. The staff was exceptional, very friendly and helpful. The food in their restaurant was superb and the prices reasonable. For hotel residents they also offer free parking space and free deck chairs with shade on the nearby beach. Highly recommend. I liked that an atmosphere in the hotel was very friendly, informal and cozy. Every staff member was caring about the hotel as it would be his own. All requests were fulfilled immediately without any delay. Rooms were cleaned on everyday basis. I would really recommend Hotel Tamaris for everyone who wants a relaxed holiday on the beach or near a pool!
The accommodation is very close to the main town beach and stores, banks, and restaurants. The apartment was quiet and clean. The ground floor apartment where we stayed was cool even on hot days, though there is also an air conditioner if you prefer to use it. There is ample gated private parking, and it was easy to fit our car.
