Villa Alexandros, hotel in Zóla

Villa Alexandros is a self-catering, split-level property located in Zóla. Free WiFi access is available. The property offers 7 terraces. The bathroom is stocked with a spa bath.

The flat is spacious, clean, with multiple terraces and amazing views. The beds are comfortable and there is so much care put in by Kleopatra making them every day. Kleopatra also drops in cakes and savoury purse every few days. Dimitris has boats and does a wonderful tour of the nearby coastline. It was the highlight of our stay. They are simply wonderful hosts. Zola may seem a little isolated but it’s a great location to reach all parts of the island. Lixouri with its restaurants and supermarkets is an easy 20 mn drive. April is a great place to visit with very few tourists and all the flowers in bloom. Some places are shut but enough are open. Would highly recommend Villa Alexandros, and a Spring holiday in Kefalonia.

Chromata Assos Villas Kefalonia, hotel in Zóla

Chromata Assos Villas Kefalonia in Asos provides adults-only accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace.

This property was the best I have ever stayed at! It was honestly 10 / 10. The design of the buildings and how they all sit together on the site, is a stroke of genius. Great Architecture. Things like the tasteful colour pallet, the choice of materials and the attention to detail, were a modern delight. Internal lighting / plunge pool / full kitchen / double height space and electric blinds were just some of the many fantastic touches. (even the back lit logo on the gate was genius)! If that's not enough, the owners are lovely people and the breakfast was superb! Also proximity to the bay and restaurants was great. I can't recommend this place enough! We will go back for sure.

Zola is a small village that sits on the hillside of the beautiful valley between Zola and Agkonas. You can get there from Argostoli by car which takes around 40 minutes. Zola has a small habour where you can find water taxis to beaches you can only reach from the water. Two nice beaches belong or are very close to Zola, respectively: Kiriaki beach and Vouti beach. Both were clean, were not crowded and had clear blue water.

We loved how quiet & relaxed it was. It was a nice stroll from the house to the beach. The harbour area had a couple of nice cafes & we went on an excellent boat trip from there. The local restaurant in Zola is very good

I liked zola because it s really quiet and very small, I like that, there s only one restaurant, a really good one in the village and 2 at the beach. It s good to relax, the beach is about 2,3 kilometers from zola village, so you need a car or a bike, the way down is very steep. If you want to have more shops or action, Zola is not good for you.

Small village where everybody knows everybody.

Small village where everybody knows everybody. Feeling safe and secure. On the tavern from the village you could eat some meat and there is down on the port a fish tavern. Both are small and you will find not so many choices but decent meals and decent prices. Supermarket is missing and you should buy water and everything you need in advance.

Great views, two glorious beaches within twenty minutes walk either way , lots of friendly locals to hitch-hike a ride from - up the steep hill to Zola village. Beautiful water, amazing fish restaurant, lovely other cafe restaurants, cheap wine - and tranquility if you wander a while. Love it here. We got to Zola by cab and then walked and hitch hiked around the place. Left after three days - called a taxi from Aghia Efimia. Love Zola, and the beaches at Vouti and Aghia Keriaki.

    Beautiful location, unspoilt.

Beautiful location, unspoilt. Don't go there if you are looking for entertainment, bars and clubs or shops. You will definitely need a car. The hills are long and steep, and most accommodation is about a mile from the beach. But make up for it with their stunning views. The nearby beaches are beautiful. There are 4 good Tavernas, which are spread around the village or nearby hillside or beaches. Most people would be close to maybe at least one of them to walk to. Currently, Zola does not get that crowded, and I am reluctant to recommend it as a place to visit, because I wouldn't want it to be ruined when I return next time.
