The staff is very very nice. They will give you their WhatsApp contact and it is very convenient to find them. They usually reply within a few minutes. Breakfast was sent to our room directly and they provide a large variety of choices. We had a great time in Venus and it is totally recommended!

The house is just like the pictures - we expected an excellent air bnb and we got an excellent air bnb. The only difference from the photos is that there is now a house built behind this house which will be another excellent air bnb.
What we didn't expect was the level of service. Olga met us at the house (which we found a little stressful as we were running late and we didn't want to mess her around) and showed us the basics but then came back the next day to give us a full list of places to go, bringing eggs and bread with her (there was already tea, coffee, wine, olive oil, honey, tomatoes, courgettes, a massive fruit bowl full of fruit, more bread, butter, jam, (probably other stuff too) in the kitchen. Olga then came back every day to check we were ok, bringing things that we needed (including some ointment for my bad back), finding out what we'd been up to and suggesting new places to go to and see and places to eat. We also had a cleaner every day who did a full clean (2-3 hours) as opposed to just straightening a few things and emptying the bins. Exceptional service!

My credit card information was shared with a local vendor...
My credit card information was shared with a local vendor that we were potentially interested in for a sailing trip, but we withdrew. I purposely did not give my full information of expiration and security pin to a company called "Caldera Yachting" due to possible bad weather conditions, which it turned out to be. The owner of Calder Yachting became hostile and called our room continuously, but I knew we had not given our complete credit cared information and dismissed the situation. Once I returned home and received credit card statements, we learned that "Caldera Yachting" somehow was able to obtain my complete credit card information and place charges for $339 for services that were not rendered. I have tried to email the management of Magma, but all messages have been returned. Please have them contact me as I have disputes this charge and it is illegal to share guest information

Taxis are expensive and You need to negotiate prices or You will be ripped off...no Bus to Vourvoulos but easy to park your Hire Car.

5 stars if you want peace and quiet away from all the tourists. 2 stars for convenience of location to towns with shops and restaurants such as Imerovigli, Fira, or Oia. Taxis are hard to come by and expensive. The steep hills make renting a car or ATV sound scary. But almost a must if you choose to brave this location for the beauty and peacefulness. Make sure you get your international drivers license well in advance to be able to rent a vehicle.

Maria truly treated us like family.
Maria truly treated us like family. You could feel the instant warmth when you arrive and she even invited us for an evening celebration at her house which was outstanding 😀
The private pool was great as the kids swarm in it for as long as they needed.
Breakfast was awesome to say the least. Would highly recommend Anema to anyone visiting Santorini if you want a peaceful and memorable vacation..
I would recommend renting a car as this made it easier for us to navigate most of the city.
