The staff/management are great. We've met Maria at the front desk in the morning and she made our day. She made us a nice breakfast and then helped us with our requests. We were very impressed with the management, they assisted us when we need it most.

Kalamata is a nice town if you want to experience the real Greece. Do not expect beautiful and interesting buildings or classical monuments. In the mornings the town is very nice due to the shops and in the evenings the center is lively with lots of people enjoying life in one of the many bars in town. Finding a nice restaurant was less easy - they are scattered around town. The beach is ok, however there are many better beaches around Greece!
