Tigaki is easy to access by public buses.
Tigaki is easy to access by public buses. If you are visiting with a tour, you will be picked up and dropped off to your hotel. There are variety of choices for beaches and dinner. However, there was not enough traditional things to discover. You may think hiring a car or joining a tour for discovering other parts of the island. Tigaki is located at north and depending on the weather, you may face with waves rather than a smooth sea. In this case, you may choose to swim at the south.

Nice, quiet, small town/village with a long beach. There is a few restaurants, markets, bicycle rentals and agencies with an offers of a various trips.
Kos town is about 30 minutes by bus, there is a few bus stops around the Tigaki.
From Tigaki beach you can see Kalymnos island in front of you and also Turkey.

I loved the town in the evening ,easy to find a beautiful place to sit ,eat and watch the sunset.The Hamam area with the dancing fountain is beatiful by day but wonderfully illuminated in the evening.
Good food is served all day, you can always find what you want. .Some lovely gift shops ,well stocked supermarket.
The local people are very happy to chat ,nothing seems too much trouble for them, very welcoming.
Just outside Tigaki is Erikas, a stables, where you can horse ride or like me just go there to stroke the beautiful horses and see the other animals .Good cafe there very reasonable and a childrens play area.

German and Dutch etc orientated.
Cannot fault the staff from old to young, beginning of the day till the end were great.
Beer etc was OK.
Jonathan Apartments is the perfect spot to stay if you want peace and quiet, but that's also walking distance to the restaurants and bars in Tigaki. The room was spotlessly clean, as was the pool and surrounding area. The garden and lawns are pristine and beautifully maintained. Minas and Katerina who work there are wonderful and so helpful. I had to leave at 4:30AM to get to the airport on my day of departure and Minas arranged a taxi for me.
I highly recommend Jonathan Studio Apartments and I will definitely be back!

Its a wonderful 30 minute's stroll to tigaki city centre on the beach. Or even 3 minutes by car/moto or 5 minutes per bicycle.
There is the ampeli restaurant 5 minutes walk from the hotel. One of the best greek taverns on the island.
Mini market and little vegetable/fruits seller is 5-10 minutes walk and bus station ist right next to it.
These apartments are just perfect, the location is ideal as it is right next to the beach and just a five minute walk to the supermarket and a 10 minute walk to the main town of Tigaki which has so many restaurants and bars to choose from! Also the bus stop which brings you into Kos town is right outside. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the apartment is also cleaned daily. I would recommend Johnathon Studios!
We really enjoyed our week stay here. The pool facilities were clean and spacious with plenty of sun loungers. The bar staff and waiting staff were always friendly and polite. Helpful receptionists - I informed them that the hair dryer wasn't working and they brought me another one straight away. The location is also convenient for the beach and the bus stop into Kos Town. Very peaceful and slept well.

Most days had pool to ourselves. If you like doing your own thing with no hassle and tranquillity then this is a great base for your stay on Kos.
Very good hotel. I travelled a lot and usually hotels have small swimming pools. But this had 4 swimming pools, one of them really huge. The food was nice. Staff was super professional. We had wonderful view from the terrace. There are many additional activities. If you like all inclusive hotels, that you can spent all you stay inside, this hotel is for you.
owner has a gun and threatened me and my arabic friend even after we paid him €300 for 2 nights and he called police - he; Michael and his wife Georgia are racist and money hungry - these are not normal greek people; I am greek and been in Greece 7 years; do not support this family - they are racists and threaten you with a gun!!! a loaded gun!!!!!
The hotel is brand new and is build with cure. In Tigaki, it is arguably the best option, offering quality staying with a water front view. Besides, it offers three restaurants to choose for dinner, which are great considering that in Tigaki options are really few. Notably, staff was friendly and eager to help.
Kostas, the houskeeper, is a great man that is always there and ready to solve the problems. The owner and his wife are so nice people. they make you feel a family atmospehere.very good maintained pool. good snack bar and the prices are reasonable. very comfortable mattress and very good cleaning.
The staff was so professional, polite and helpful and because of Ms Irena at the reception desk this hotel should be 5*. Food was also very nice and there was enough choice for anyone. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained as well as our apartment. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
The hotel itself is fine if not the wind. It is located in a quiet area, close to several tavernas and supermarkets. The staff is very friendly. Both Ms. Maria and the gentlement who takes care of the garden were very kind and supportive. The facilities are also good, nothing to complain about.
The hotel met our expectations precisely. It was clean, pool was great, staff amazing and helpful. While visiting with a baby we were given an extra crib and kettle which helped us a lot throughout our stay. Also, it was not far away from great restaurants and the nearest town Tigaki was lovely.

Our stay was great, the place had everything we wanted. Close proximity to the beach and resturant/bars, onsite store at the Hotel, the food everywhere was great and the staff lovely and helpful. Kos island is an beautiful Island and Tigaki is a great and friendly little village.
