Hotel Mesala is located in a perfect place. Infront of river Nile. Beautiful ambience. Hotel price is very good rates. Restaurant food price is not expensive. Service is excellent, especially boss' son, Osama. very helpful, honest and good businessman. All the hotel staff are courteous and polite. The room was nicely decorated but quite small and probably doesn't really warrant the 'luxury' status. We chose the Junior Suite after reading reviews that the other bathrooms were a little snug. The bathroom didn't quite meet our expectations with a fan and light automatically coming on when you opened the door and then going off after a period of time.

The hotel is situated about a kilometer from the main restaurant / bar area. For me, it wasn't a problem as I don't mind a short walk at the end of the night. Although walking at night in Greece at night can be a problem with poor pavements and inadequate street lighting.
