The hotel itself is stunning. There is a breathtaking view and plenty of areas for relaxation. There are two pools, some entertainment areas and access to the sea. The breakfast has lots of options. The staff in the restaurant is professional, friendly and helpful. So is the staff in the Spa.
I would really recommend booking a massage, it was the best one we’ve had so far.

The villa was amazing and the outdoor kitchen and living space were a total surprise and perfect for us. Lydia was incredibly helpful and attentive and gave us lots of recommendations that we acted on for places to eat and things to do. We had an octogenarian and a 17 year old in our party and the villa - and holiday as a whole - suited their needs and all of us in between. A wonderful stay!

Lovely clean comfortable apartment with a verandah with beautiful view of the sea.
We arrived late and I had asked the hosts to provide some food for our supper which they very kindly did and only charged me what it actually cost. They sent great directions how to find our room in the dark, it was easy to find, the location was great, not far from the airport. We only stayed one night but would happily have stayed longer and taken advantage of the wonderful pool. A short walk away is a small sandy cove which also looked good for swimming if we had had time.

Perfect stay. A neat and modern apartment with sea view from the terrace. Each apartment has the same view with enough of privacy from each other (separate building from the smaller rooms). We couldn't have been happier with our choice of a hotel! It's located a few kilometers outside of the center and the old town but this was only a positive thing for us - lying by the pool (a big and clean pool for that matter) it was actually calm and quiet with only some birdsong to be heard. The hotel also provided a free shuttle every half an hour to the center and back so the distance was not an issue whatsoever. The staff was a m a z i n g, I can't compliment them enough. It must've been the warmest welcome I've received at any hotel, in any country, and they kept being so genuinely kind and helpful for our whole stay. The restaurant upstairs offers you the best sunset view in town and we actually ended up having dinner there almost every night since the food was also great there. The breakfast buffet was so great as well, with a big variety of food and omelets made to order. If (and hopefully, when) I return to Chania, I will definitely stay at Royal Sun again.
We loved the beauty and nature in Stavros. There were 2 small well stocked supermarkets and 5 restaurants. The beach was beautiful and of course the Mountain which always captured your gaze- a very scenic place away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger towns. The Paradice Hotel luxury suites were first class and by far the best place to stay and as if that’s not enough, they have a massive deluxe extension and another huge pool opening in March 2024.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good, we didn’t find anywhere else that matched the quality and prices; amazing value! The environment of the resort was lovely from the gardens to the pool area to the area by the sea with pontoon.
Could have been even better if the room had coffee/tea facilities.

Stavros is a very calm place, with a great bay to swim in, even when the sea is agitated. It's great for families, but also for romantic couples that want to disconnect from the touristic vibe.
We enjoyed the traditional cuisine in a lovely and cheap family restaurant - Zorbas Taverna.

For us the hotel was perfect, away from the beach with an easy walk. The bars and restaurants were plentiful and the food of a great quality.
Stavros is a great location for adventuring, Chania is near, the old town is a treat, monasteries and the botanical gardens were visited as well as some of the other beaches in the area. Crete has a great vibe and we will be back.

Lovely room, spotlessly clean, nicely located between shops for basic provisions and beach, nice pool. Stavros itself beautiful place spectacular beach good selection of reasonably priced tavernas BUT sunbeds at 25 euros a pair rather took the edge of it all ...
The apartment was located in complex of apartments just by the seaside and with swimming pool. Inside was also spacious parking. The apartment was very cleen and there were also some products for us for free - home wine, water, coffee, tea etc. The complex is located 10 km from Chania airport so it is good choice for night before departure but not only for this. It has all necessary infrastructure for holidays such as pool, parking space, very good restaurant in adjacent hotel. Around the complex there is wild beautiful nature to be walked.
The hotel is excellent with a clean pool and a very nice view of the sea. Friendly staff, happy to help with any questions one might have and suggestions for activities or restaurants and cafes around the area or further. Stayed for seven nights and enjoyed a quiet hotel, exactly what we were looking for. Renting a car is a good option, however there is a bus stop close by. We had no breakfast included, but there is a kitchenette with everything one might need (coffee filter, sandwich maker, water boiler, some pots and pans, fridge, etc.).
Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, everything was amazing! The staff were very friendly and helpful...nothing was too much trouble. Our apartment was in the a superb building. It was a large room with everything you needed. We had a sea view and it was only a 30 second walk away! Very relaxed affair and all seating areas had a beautiful view of the sea. If you come out of the hotel and turn right away from there you will find a selection of restaurants with a calmer eating experience than in the center of town. Very enjoyable hotel!
Very comfortable apartments in a quiet location right by the sea and close to lovely beaches. The staff are excellent and our host, Vicky, was very helpful and made sure we were always happy. Our well equipped room was cleaned every day with linen and towels replaced every 2 days. The sea views from both apartments and pool are fabulous especially at sunset. 10 min drive from the airport and Chania town is 25 min drive away. Great local restaurants and beaches are close by.
The apartment was very quiet & comfortable, the efficiency stove and refrigerator worked well. The kitchen was stocked with pot\pans\plates & utensils for 4. Fresh Bath towels & bed linens with extras in the closet. There was a quiet balcony in the back with a table and 2 chairs that had some shade to protect from the afternoon sun and the small private beach just steps from the front door. There was a large public beach 200 meters further down the main road.

Amazing accommodation, especially if you want to have vacation in silence! It was very quiet, had beautiful and clean rooms, a great outdoor area and wonderful views. It is recommended to rent a car so that you can explore the area more easily. This was also organized by the accommodation itself as well as the airport shuttle. It was all very uncomplicated and there was always someone available. I really enjoyed the week in Stavros.
The house is close to the sea and the beach and is perfect for a couple. You have all amenities to cook and store food for yourself if you are not into eating out all the time. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, you only hear the sea and waves. The scenery is beautiful in the morning and there are a lot of sand lillies in the garden with an enchanting smell. Apostolo is a great host and very welcoming.
Perfect location next to a small beach, in a calm, quiet (apart from the noise of the breaking waves) place with an exceptional view. A small bay with shallow water - even a poor swimmer can relax by swimming in the sea.

The property is new. The facilities and landscaping are well kept. The amenities are perfect. They have a lot to offer. Excellent taxi service. I rode in Mercedes vans the entire time. The location is perfect. Nearby beaches, hiking in hills, bicycles available to use, game room, kids room, spa, multiple pools, lifeguard on duty for the ocean. The views at sunrise/sunset are amazing!

The hotel was very charming, and peaceful and the rooms were incredibly clean. Steps from an amazing beach, one of the best on the whole island. We truly enjoyed our stay, we already arranging our come back again.
The host was very nice and greeted us with a gift basket. The house and the garden were very well equipped with a grill, chairs, outdoor shower, bikes and the kitchen was also great. There was even a beach umbrella that we could use.
The beach and also a shop were in walking distance from the accomodation.
The staff at Kavos is fantastic, they are all so kind and helpful. The hotel is lovely, extremely clean and ideal for relaxation. We had to postpone our check out by a few hours and they were so kind to allow us to use the facilities until we left. We would definitely recommend it!

Perfect location for us in stavros, we used it to explore the area, walked to the Zorba the Greek beach, great food in the bars there. A great pool central to the hotel with plenty of lounging space. The staff exceptional, could not ask for more.
Ideal beach! You can chouse to swim just near or to go 150 m to the central beach, closed from the waves, by the way! Perfect clean sand. Changing cabins and shower everywhere. Amazing view to the mount and bay. Suitable also for babies.
