Alexander apartments, hotel in Spartia

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Alexander apartments is located in Spartia. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi.

The location was amazing! Right at the beginning of the village, no other houses close by, situated amid trees, with a large yard created to look like an orchard. The only thing that took over the silence was the song of birds or of cicadas throughout the day and of grasshoppers at night. The host was exceptional as well! We've been travelling around Greece for the last 10 years or so, but this was the most welcoming and tourist-orientated host! At arrival we found a loaf of bread, gem, orange juice, cold water and wine, coffee capules and cooking ingredients, none of which were either promised or received in our previous vacantions. Alexander's hospitality kept on revealing itself during our entire stay... Thank you, Alexander! And thank your mom, too! You really offered us a dream-like holiday!

Boasting sea views, Rodia Art House features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 1.8 km from Klimatsias Beach. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

The property was fantastic, clean and well equipped. The location was great and the views from the balcony were wonderful. The fixtures like the excellent oven, hob, fridge / freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine made it a home from home. Having great air conditioning in the rooms was also very nice. The beds were comfortable and the 3 showers were great for the family to get ready quickly. The owner Lillian and her mother Poppy were very helpful and greeted us with a cake, homemade biscuits and 2 bottles of delicious wine.

Thalassa Boutique Hotel - Adults Only, hotel in Spartia

Thalassa Hotel is situated 250 metres from the sandy beach of Makris Yialos. It features a lovely swimming pool and rooms boasting beautiful views over the Ionian Sea from their balconies.

The Location is perfect, away from any type hustle and bustle, not that there is much hustling and bustling going on on an island like Kefalonia. A minutes walk to a lovely little beach across the road. 10minute walk to an even bigger and just as lovely beach. I recommend you walk into the Capital Argostoli as there is a lovely picture opportunity on top of the hill. 45 mins max to walk there. The hotel grounds, the set up of the furniture and decor outside are flawless. The atmosphere is tranquil.

Spartia is very small, with a couple of mini markets, a coffee bar and a taverna. It's a great location if you like walking in the countryside, and access by car to a choice of beaches and to Argostoli town (and the airport) is quick and easy.

We loved Spartia, lovely a Greek village and everyone was really welcoming and helpful. You definitely need a car to get around. The beach was beautiful but too far for us to walk to in the heat. We are in Cavo Liakos one evening and it was lovely and a very welcoming host Katerina. The mini markets have a great selection of goods you might need.

Spartia is just like the other villages of Kefalonia.

Spartia is just like the other villages of Kefalonia. Spread on a hill that ends in a beach, at the shore of the sea, it is not a destination for party seekers, though! Nor is Kefalonia for what I have gathered! But here, the people, the genuine Greek atmosphere, the silence, the birds, the goats, the wind, offer and create long-life memories. If you want to get out of your room and reach the beach in a second, this is not the place for you. Here, you obviously need a car to find the greatest beaches around the island and Spartia, beeing located in the South of it, allows you to take different directions , to its left or to its right, or even above it, to Assos or Agia Efimia. We didn't dare go further, as it would have taken us more of an hour's drive... To sum up, Kefalonia and Spartia, in particular, are great destinations for those who seek the true spirit of Greece, who seek peace, who seek great nature, good wine and the right space that invites to either spending quality time with family or friends, or to reading a good book! Enjoy!!!

I liked Spartia. Villa was a short walk to village centre.

I liked Spartia. Villa was a short walk to village centre. It was near Argostolin and lots of beaches and sites and most of the places one would want to visit without being too touristic or on the flip side too far or inaccessible. Having visited most of the island I would definitely recommend this area. You do need a rental car as there are not a couple of busses a day

Lovely traditional Greek village. No bus service so if you wanted to see the island you needed to hire a car. Lovely restaurant within walking distance Cavos Liakos. Lovely food and friendly staff. Small supermarket for essentials.

Such friendly staff!! Nana, at reception had upgraded our room upon arrival which was so nice and the amenities were great. The property has a restaurant which has fish, chicken, salads, omelettes and even a coffee bar! They also have a breakfast buffet for 10 Euros per person which includes; coffee, juice, breads, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt etc. We would totally stay here again!! Absolutely loved it, Spartia beach is right outside of the parking lot which is awesome when you want to stay local and not travel to a different beach!

absolutely amazing. highly recommend theros retreat. beautiful property, beautiful rooms, gorgeous pool area, location is beautiful. more importantly the owner Andreas is amazing. super friendly and went over and above to make us feel welcome and comfortable. you need a car to reach the property and the surrounding island/ beaches the closest one is a good 2 miles and not for the faint hearted but then that’s the case with most beaches on the island. we shall return next year

The room was perfect, also the kitchenette was equipped with everything you need and the yard is exceptional, the cleaning is very well maintained. WiFi works well for remote work. It is close to the local beach and some restaurants within walking distance and other nice places on the island where you can go by car in 20-25 minutes. Christos is very nice, he received us very well, he was always smiling and happy to help us with any information and requests. Thank you!

Our stay at Eliamos was flawless! Our villa looked out across to amazing views. The food was delicious - from breakfast through to dinner, with plenty of choice. The staff were so friendly, and the spa therapist was particularly brilliant. I've been to Kefalonia a number of times, but Eliamos is easily the best hotel I have stayed at. I only wish I stayed for longer! Thank you Eliamos - I will be back!

The views from the villa are stunning! The pool and outdoor areas are beautiful, comfortable and quiet. There was a bottle of water and a bottle of wine awaiting us upon arrival. Spartia Beach, Waterway Cafe and two mini markets are just short drive away. There was a small cooler and a beach umbrella in the villa which came in very handy when visting the beach.

Katerina and her family were amazing. She picked us up from the airport and was so attentive. Always on hand but left us to get on with our holiday. The weather was exceptional and you are never too far away from a blue flag beach. The people on the island are just so friendly. So much to see and do.

The apartment included everything we needed for a two-week stay, and it's a great location for easy access to a choice of beaches and Argostoli town. The well-equipped kitchen was a welcome bonus as we like to cook, and the hosts were extremely kind and accommodating. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience at the property in Spartia. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease. The hosts Polymnia and Dimitris couldn’t have been more attentive and were very knowledgeable about the area.
