Not so great for me, I was expecting at something else. Everything was quite expensive. For example, other friends went in Lefkada where all the beaches are really beautiful and nice, and the prices were almost the same as here. But here, I was not so impressed. I had the same locations in my country but more cheaper.

Skala Marion is on the South-Western coast, therefore you'll admire incredible sunsets. It is a village, not a town, and has a quiet atmosphere, not an effervescent vibe. There are some little shops and quite a few taverns, where you can eat fresh local food (especially fish and seafood) but also regular restaurant dishes, at a fair price. People are friendly, the three beaches (Sunset, Skala Maries and Atspas) are sandy and children-friendly, the water is clear.

The balcony has beautiful see view and sunset scenery is amazing.
Breakfast is served at nice terrace , and extra cup of coffee is not a problem. Breakfast is served, and is not self service.
During first half of september, there was plenty of parking area around the apartments, so parking was not an issue at any time.
Center of the village is 3min walk away with great restaurants with good see food.
Another 3 minutes, and you reach city main beach.

Skala Marion beach is one of the best beaches on Thassos island.
Sandy beach with shallow, crystal clear and very warm water. Cozy bay.
Free sun beds if you order a few drinks and food :) Unfortunately, there is no toilet on the beach and you have to climb lots of stairs to the cafe/bar to go to the toilet.
There is a parking space for cars.
Around Skala Marion beach, there are a few cafes and restaurants, supermarkets etc but all in all, it's a small place.
Perfect location with amazing view and good hospitality. The owners are so polite and positive people. Down there is Atspas beach, under the villa. Five minutes away is the centre of Skala Marion village where you can find amazing sea food at all tavernas there. There is also bakery and pharmacy. It has three beaches in the village, so you have options. The place is so good for families with children, it is so beautiful and quiet.
I definitely recommend it, good value for money.

A chic and neat accommodation located in the center of Skala Marion village just a few meters from the beach, the most popular taverns, promenade and supermarket. Basically all around you have the most important points of interest of the holiday.
The interior of the apartment is clean, minimalist and beautifully decorated. Regarding utilities, the space has everything you need, and the beds are comfortable.
The terrace is generous and full of green plants and the sunset is dreamy.

The apartment is really big, perfect for family with children. It was cleaned & bed sheets changed every 3 days (which is something we did not expect, as it's not a hotel). It has a big balcony, on both of the rooms with a nice view, very close to tavernas. It has a kitchen equiped with eveything you can think of, also a hairdryer and iron board. The host Theodore and his mother are very friendly and available to help you.
We had an amazing stay at villa Irene- great view, the apartment was big enough for our family, equiped with everything we needed, including washing and dryer machines. Cleanning services, changing towels and sheets as often as we needed-we felt like in the hotel. The area is peaceful, we could hear the seawaves and birds every morning and evening. Irene is an amazing host, warm and familiar, our baby adored her :)

You have to drive to get anywhere, there nothing in walking distance, and initially we thought that's a problem. But it's no problem at all. Skala Marion and Atspas beach (which is a very nice beach) are a 3 minutes drive, no exaggeration, it only takes 3 minutes :)
And, the best part, the view of the sunset is fabulous.
The apartments are in fact few small houses grouped together. For us it was a great location, we walked in the evening to skala marion center for dinner, a 5 min relaxing walk. Also, there is a beach nearby.
The apartment is nicely equipped with everything you might need. All seem to be configured really efficiently, we loved our small kitchen and our rooms.
