Located in Sígrion, 200 metres from the Natural History Museum of the Lesvos Petrified Forest, Καλοκαιρινό σπίτι στο Σίγρι offers a terrace and air conditioning.

It has a dilapidated exterior but the interior is very newly furnished and new. A classical Greek house meticulously furnished in Ikea style. Having all kinds of materials that can be used in a house and kitchen is also a big plus. Fine details have been thought of. Of course the view is breathtaking.

ILAIRA, hotel in Sígrion

Set within 300 metres of Skala Eressos Beach and 24 km of Natural History Museum of the Lesvos Petrified Forest in Skala Eresou, ILAIRA offers accommodation with seating area.

The hotel was located only few steps to the beach and restaurants. The room was very clean and has everything you might need for a short stay. The staff was very helpful with smiling faces. The beach is very beautiful with soft sand, however bring your own equipment, there is no free sunbed/umbrella as usual practice for the rest of the island. It is totally best value for money, worth for price/performance.

Sigri is a very quiet fishing village.

Sigri is a very quiet fishing village. Whilst we explored the restaurants in the village we found the restaurants in the next village / town of Skala Eresou much better with a lot more atmosphere. In Eresou there a greater choice of food, bars, restaurants of all types and cocktail bars. However, from Sigri, it was a 40 min drive, each way, up and down the mountains. But for us it was worth the effort and we drove over to Eresou 5 nights in a row in preference to eating in Sigri. In Sigri we ate in Cavo Doro, which is very popular. The food was nice and had no complaints. It’s situated at the harbour but the outlook was not great. It’s by the side of the road and looks out to building work being done around the harbour. The other restaurant was Remezzo. The food here was slightly better, I thought, and had a much better outlook. It overlooked a bay with an elevated view. Certainly the place to go if you want lobster as they have a tank full of them for you to choose. I went to Sigri to windsurf and it appeared to me that the only tourists in the village were people using the windsurf centre. When I was there in July that amounted to roughly 25. If you want a quiet, relaxing time, with limited choice of restaurants that are more than a bar/cafe type venue and being secluded from any other place then Sigri is great.
