We had a wonderful stay at Ekavi hotel and we would gladly come back again!
Most of all we loved the location of the hotel - it is by the sea. The hotel has its own private beach that has perfect depth for swimming and still safe enough. We were having every breakfast with the view to the sea and some dinners at hotel's taverna.
From the very first moment when you enter the hotel you feel that it is a family business and all the staff cares about it. Usually there is an owner Soula at the reception and she helps and gives plenty advices about everything, including travelling around Crete. She speaks English and German fluently. Also the girl and the men working at the hotel's taverna are nice, too.
We read some negative comments about the breakfast, but for us it was better that we expected were prepared to. The food was fresh, there were boiled eggs, 2 types of ham, cheese, plenty of feta, tomatoes, cucumbers, some good pastry and ect. Not a huge choice, but the food was good and absolutely sufficient for the breakfast.
We also enjoyed dining in the hotel's taverna.
The hotel has a deep pool.
Simple but tidy rooms.

So far the best interior apartment i stayed in Crete.
Split level very nice decorated inside.
Excellent even the patio with little shared garden and the little shared pool, good for refreshing.
Full equipped kitchen even for long stays and the two toilets (one with shower). Perfect air con and shower outside for sand removing are the details i found more convenient. The beach is close (quite rocky the closest, but u have sandy nearby, as coffeshop and supermarket. Last plus is that host is super responsive.

The food was Excellent. Great taste and freshness (higher quality compared to other all-inclusive hotels we have visited in the past). Note that the hotel was almost full. However, the food quality was impressive.
The personnel, especially the waitresses and the cleaners, were very polite. They made us feel the original Cretan hospitality and were always smiling.
Finally, we would like to mention that in our arrival they made a mistake in our room (wrong type). Instead of feeling bad that we did not get what we expected, we decided to inform the hotel. The Operation Manager, Mr. Manolis S. listened to us, immediately took measures and fixed the issue in the most appropriate way. We greatly appreciated and valued his interest to ensure that we would receive the expected quality of service. A BIG thank you!

The room was clean and had a lovely view of the beach. The parking was very good. The staff was very helpful especially Alexandra who gave us a really warm welcome. The pool was clean and very good wifi all over the building. The location is walking distance to all the restaurants, shops and nearby beaches.

Very warm welcome by reception staff, lovely young lady wish I had got her name to mention her personally, a credit to the hotel as was the young lady in the restaurant at breakfast, very clean and extremely comfortable, quality food at breakfast ( can't comment on evening meal as went b&b) everywhere immaculate. Will definitely be looking to book again but for longer this time.

Many choices, great quality! The beach is very near, crystal waters!
Very nice structure, with small apartments on 2 levels: master bedroom upstairs and kitchen and kids beds downstairs, we had also 2 balconies with very nice room.
The managers are very nice and friendly, helpful and provided us with plenty of hints for places to visit and good restaurants.
The hotel has also a bar and a restaurant where you can eat delicious servings; the hotel organizes special menus typically on weekends.
There is also a very nice swimming pool wi5h sunbeds.

Nikos and Tonya are lovely hosts, very communicative and welcoming. We stayed in an apartment no.102. Big apartment with a separate bedroom and a huge balcony with a view towards the sea and the hills.
The shower is very good, hot and powerful. The hotel has a nice swimming pool. Located 10kms from Rethymnon in an area with many new developments.
The young couple running the hotel are extremely nice and helpful. They made our stay much much more fun and pleasant. Such nice people, we felt very welcomed during our stay. The hotel is located in a village which is quiet and far enough from the hectic beach street. Plenty of parking, close to great beaches.
