We were here for the second time and we enjoyed it as much as last year! Everything is great: the location, the rooms, the cleaning, the breakfast. We will most definitely return! For us it’s the best hotel in Plakias and the staff has played a great role in this!

Simple barn conversion studio apartment in a stunning spot right by a tranquil bay, shaded by tamarisk trees. Friendly staff and a nice taverna. Perfect for complete relaxation. We’d seen these rooms on previous visits to Frangkocastello and felt lucky to find availability for our brief 2 night stay. The studios weren’t amazingly modern but were comfortable and had everything we needed, and we would definitely stay again.

About half a dozen good places to eat, lovely sandy beach even better if more comfortable sunbeds, nice peaceful location in the countryside. Plenty of tradition Greek food available, probably enough places to eat for a week if you don’t have a car but ideally a car allows you to try different beaches and explore area.

We live locally to this area and every year we have a short break. This is the first time to stay at Rodakino for a longer period and was most enjoyable and getting to know the locals. Virgin Mary was outstanding, close to the beach, incredible views and the Taverna food was the best we have had anywhere. Quiet location but not too far to travel to locals spots of interest.
Lovely location on a remote rock cliff with an excellent view of the sea, mountains, sunrise, and sunsets. Small garden with benches to sit on and enjoy the view, especially in the evenings, when it was cooler. Small private beach with tamarisk trees to hide from the sun. We spotted flying fish on the sea bottom! Small kitchenette with basic equipment. Balcony with sea view and table. Very friendly and helpful hostess. In the village - nice taverns with delicious local cuisine and good public beaches with sunbeds and umbrellas.
The view from terrace is spectacular! The terrace is huge and it is perfect place to relax in the morning or afternoons. The beach is just down the road 1km and is perfectly clean with blue sign for beach standards , blue green cristal clear sea, private beach with no crowds at all. The hotel location is very good, peaceful vilage area, but close to main road to Rethimino and also to south coast beaches which are very good for those who enjoy the sea more privately. The owner is very good and welcoming.
Nice apartment, very clean, great view of the sea from the balcony, very calm place. Fall asleep listening to the waves on the beach. Car can be parked right in front of the building. Some cats and a lovely dog on premises. For us it was just perfect. The small village of Polyrizos is also a good location for holidays, a supermarket, some good tavernas, multiple beaches. If you need anything else, Plakias is only a short drive away.
The location right on the seafront, with the mountain backdrop, is stunning. The rooms are comfortable with a generous fridge, kettle and basic utensils for making a drink. Complimentary raki. The owner, Valdis, is jovial and friendly. The breakfasts are substantial and tasty. The hotel is small and was quiet while we were there, though most of the six rooms were taken. We will return. Excellent value.
The apartment was newly renovated, the bed one of the most comfortable we have slept in during our times in Crete. We ate there every night of our 6 nights - the food was most delicious and the owners very friendly people. The room was tidied every day and the bathroom cleaned. Every 3 days fresh bed clothes and towels.We have already recommended to other we met during the rest of our stay in Crete.
The property was in a lovely quiet location with a beautiful view of the sea. Polyrizos beach was only a couple of minutes drive away or a 20 minute walk. Plakias is the closest town 20mins away for a ‘busy’ feel with restaurants and shops so we had the best of both.
Owners were very friendly and welcoming and Josephine was very helpful with sorting us out with a baby cot in the room.
We loved our stay at the Akrotiri Panorama! The view is just amazing and the location is perferct for relaxation. The host Petros was extremely nice and very helpful. The apartment itself is pretty as well and provides for everything necessary (and more). When visiting crete another time, we will definitely book an apartment here again!!

Hosts are extremely polite, we got welcome drinks and fruits. The view from balcony is priceless. Every night we would fall asleep by listening the sound of waves and watching the stars. Nice sandy beach Polyrizos is just 2 minutes away from the apartment. Quiet place perfect for relaxation.

Akropolis is an ideal location for people who are looking for some break in a place without crowds. The hotel is situated on a cliff and has a stunning view. We also went to the private beach (better wear some sport shoes since you will be going through the rocks).
Small attractive hotel in a nice quiet location surrounded by olive groves and an easy walk to the beach, the local supermarket, a bar and authentic tavernas.
The staff were friendly and attentive.
The hotel was great !!!! Host Olga prepares great, delicious and large breakfasts.
There are nearby taverns, the beach was empty and quiet.
