Great hotel by the beach. Location is perfect, it is clean, the room was big and with a nice little terrace, and the entire staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Everyone was smiling, breakfast was very nice, the swimming pool was a great joy for my 2 kids. We also enjoyed the massage and pilates options. Overall, we spent 10 great days as a family in Milos and Golden Milos Beach House was a great hotel for us for this vacation.

The place is very nice, the Host Mariana is amazing, caring and super helpful with suggestion about activities and restaurant. It is very near to many very beautiful beaches. There is an outside common area, very nice to eat, watch the sea and hang your clothes to dry.

Everything! It is a magical place on a beautiful island with lovely hosts. There are cats, dogs, and chickens. Fresh produce for breakfast daily. Hosts speak multiple languages. I wold recommend this place to anyone. it is best to have a rental car.

Very friendly staff. The truly care about everyone who comes to stay. I felt safe and rooms were comfortable and very clean. I left jewelry in the safe - a family heirloom and they have been working above and beyond to get it back to me. Also - food is some of the best on the island.

This hotel was fantastic. The room exceeded our expectations as did the extra effort the staff went to to make our stay enjoyable. The pool area was great to have a few cocktails and watch the sun set. The breakfast each morning was amazing. Would highly recommend Santa Maria to anyone thinking of coming to Milos.

Milos, in general, is not a very big island so you can get...
Milos, in general, is not a very big island so you can get to a lot of it within 20 min drive. Most of the beaches we found are not organized (no lounge chairs and no umbrellas), which makes for beautiful beaches but not a lot of shade. Which means you need to bring those items with you if you want to relax on the beach when the sun is strong.
Provatas is on the southern side of Milos and most beaches on this side of the island are off long dirt/sandy roads and are very popular, so you need to go early to park near the beach and have a car that can handle the steep dirt rocky roads. But again, bring something that can give you shade, we found the tourist maps were wrong with which beaches actually are organized.
The beaches and rocks formation on Milos are absolutely gorgeous, you will love it!
Personally, we preferred to stay out of the town in places like Provatas, to get away from all the crowds and traffic. Once you are out of the main towns, the crowds and traffic drop off quickly and you have a very quiet, peaceful stay.
