We had a room on the edge of the property which was very quiet with a view towards the beaching the sound of the sea at night. A well laid out property with 2 great pools. Lavish breakfast served in the beach side pavillon. Very relaxing and comfortable. The property is located away from the party strip and hence very quiet.

Good family oriented resort with lots of eating options from casual to more formal, international to traditional Cretan, close to visit Chania on an excellent bus service. Many handy Supermarkets for those wishing to self cater. Water shoes might be a good idea the beach is kind of sandy the shore is pebbly.

Busy main road, but many apartments off side roads. Good Greek bars and restaurants, which I prefer. Although lots of modern bars and shops if you want. Couple of dancing bars, not if your face, no nightclubs which is good. Restaurants serving tradition food - Nisos (by sea), Sonos (by sea). Drosia (side road). Great cocktails and drinks at Utopia, great staff, more Greek like.

Was just ok, the rooms are clean but the furniture is old and the towels stained. Breakfast was good but the same every day, the beach in front not so clean and full of little stones.
The employes war friendly, specially the cleaning ladies.
The garden was well cared of, lots of flowers and trees.

Amaryllis offers a wonderful place for your stay on the east side of Crete. Platanias is a very nice and versatile town.
The rooms are spacious and clean. One very nice detail is that you can flush your toilet paper, which sounds trivial, but is a precious luxury on the island of Crete.
Dimitris, the manager, is always friendly, accommodating and fun. He can often be found manning the pool bar, where you can order a nice tosti, salad or gyros plate.
I will definitely come back here.
The apartment is very well located, particularly if you are attending a conference at the Minoa Palace hotel. I was about two minutes away from the conference rooms and paid less half than what I would have paid to stay in the MPH. The bus stop to go to Chania is just in front of the apartment and many stores and excellent restaurants are within easy walking distance, as is the beach. The apartment is clean and spacious and the air conditioning works well.
I loved the location, close to the beach and just a short walk to the center of Platanias.
The hospitality was exceptional and very friendly.
Ilias apartment has also car rental offer from their company Ecocars. That made it very easy for us, We didn’t need to search for parking space as they have their own place outside the hotel.
The apartment was very nice. The bed was good and we loved the balcony 😊

The hotel is located very close to the centre of Platanias. I did not have issues finding parking spot on the hotel's parking (opposites to the hotel entrance).
There is a fridge and 2 hobs in the living part of the room; plates, glasses, pots, cutlery, cutting board, big knives, washing liquid.
It's a great location for daily trips around west part of Crete.
100% recommendable! A family-run hotel with great hosts (Maria and Kiki) will make you feel as good as home. The place has a perfect location (in the heart of Platanias, close to shops, restaurants and at the same time really close to the beach). The room was cosy and clean. We are family with children. And we enjoyed our staying at hotel. Territory was not big, but comfortable from another side. Children were glad to use pool and animator's program. Staff was very friendly and helped us with all our questions. Food was fantastic and different every day. Cleaning in room was also perfect. Totally recommend for families!
Good location near the centre of Platanias. Located on the main road but elevated so it's very quiet and secluded from traffic noice. Wonderful big terrace with sea view and jacuzzi for relaxation. Modern looking apartment tastefuly arranged.

The pool was cleaned daily, the flowers throughout the pathways were beautiful, every staff member was friendly and professional, we were given mosquito repellent for the room on request, even a surprise birthday cake for my partner!

Very happy to have chosen Rania hotel for our holidays in Chania. Nice beachfront room with a beautiful view of Thodorou island. Owners and staff are helpful & kind. And the hotel restaurant, Olive's serve amazing dishes with a breathaking view of the sunset ! As such we have decided to extend our stay.
Excellent location, just seconds away from the beach and so many delicious restaurants around. The sea water was so pleasantly warm and before Platanias we’ve been at 3 other different beaches that were cold. Kiddos couldn’t get enough of swimming! We will be back, thank you for a wonderful stay!
Once we received the room we paid for (at check in it was not the case) all went well. Special thanks to the lady at the guest relations. The maisonette was spacious, food was good. The hotel is easily accessible from Chania by bus.

The apartments are very nice and coasy with big terraces. They are located really close to the center of Platanias, but still right on the beach! Jenny was very helpful with everything!
Everything was very good. The hotel is not on a particularly easy to find place (Crete, right), so the host came to pick us up when we realized we couldn't reach the place by ourselves.
