Estate was beautiful! View and pool was amazing but the stay was really made by our host Nikos! He was extremely helpful friendly and professional and essentially available at all times for communication and any questions we had. Nikos was a fantastic guide and helped us find great spots to eat and party. He’s also well connected if you are interested in any tourist activities he’s your guy!

Matina Hotel, though located right in the heart of Mykonos Town (Chora), is in a relatively quiet part where there are no shops or dining places, so it is ideal for older people like us. The place is quaint, with a garden in the middle, and a garden set in front the rooms where guests can sit and chat at night.

but that seems to be how it is marketed
shame really as I would go back but probably stay in Mykonos town as the beaches have been over run by beach clubs

The water and the scenery are so beautiful! But with the high prices, the amount of beach chairs on the beach and the overlapping music sources (noise)...my husband and I found the hostel to be our "safe place". Thank you hostel!
- Location is amazing! Next to the wonderful Paraga beach with 2 beach clubs (Kalua, SantAnna), Paradise Beach (10 mins walk). the bus stop go to the old town (20 mins drive) is just by the hotel entrance
- Scorpio‘s club is 10 mins walk!
- The personnel is SUPER friendly and helpful. We feel like home ❤️
- Breakfast is good. Lunch and dinner options are also available, otherwise you can go to a Tasos tavern on the beach (3 mins) or to the beach clubs
- We had a sea view room, and the view was beautiful, especially sunset!
The absolutely best place to stay in Mykonos! The hotel staff (family run) are all VERY kind and accommodating. The entire facility is exceptionally clean (bathrooms, shared facilities, room) and it looks very modern. The food options were great and everything tasted very fresh right from the family kitchen. I will definitely be returning and would recommend this to anyone going to mykonos. SInce it is not near the town, it is quieter/not disruptive, but the down is a short drive away. You will need to organize a driver.
Location is priceless! The view quite spectacular. Room is large with an amazing view from your bed of the bay. Comes with refrigerator and coffee maker. Bed is a dream. Superb shower, big bathroom. Outside furniture to enjoy view and a drink forever. Near small beach, few steps from property with cristaline water for swimming and snorkeling with tons if marine life. Near public buses, great restaurants and the best beach, location of Mykonos. Pricey but worth every penny!
The family is extremely friendly. (We got free shots from nikolas every day after we spent the first night at their bar). The room was pretty and we even got an free upgrade at our arrival. The beach is nice and right next to scorpios. Nikolas taverna has very good pasta right next to the hotel. If you walk 10 minutes to paradise beach you can take the bus to town. After one week in mykonos we will defenitely be back someday!
The hotel was ran by a family so the atmosphere was so warm and they were over the top accommodating to our every need. Very clean well designed rooms with a great pool, bar, and restaurant that made you feel instantly relaxed. A walk down the hill to great beaches and an ATV ride away from Paradise Beach, so you can be close enough to party but far enough to relax afterwards.
Location: Considering you need a car in Mykonos if you want to explore both beaches and villages, i thought location was convenient. Close to everything by car.
Staff: So friendly and helpful! We got some tips when you arrived, especially restaurants and they were fabulous.
Room: very comfortable, new and clean (daily cleaning service).

The location is the best in Mykonos easy to walk many options of restaurants and beaches. Very quiet and peaceful with gorgeous view. The many amenities within the apartment provide comfort and relaxation along with function. The host was friendly, helpful and easily accessible. I would highly recommend and will return to stay again and again.

The beautiful location in Mykonos was stunning! The property has many lovely photo moments. It was extremely clean, the staff were all very friendly and our room very was spacious and cooled down nicely. The breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious each morning.
The hotel is fantastically located with a private beach next to Scorpios and SantAnna and easy access to other beaches by the taxi boat. The hotel is run by a lovely family that make you feel welcome and give you a royal treatment from start to end!
