This is a a lovely authentic hotel, very genuine and very Greek. It was peaceful and the staff were lovely and super helpful. For a small family hotel the pool was excellent and religiously cleaned to a high standard every morning by the Ken from South Shields! I would highly recommend this hotel as a base and plenty of restaurants in walking distances and the beach is only 5 mins from the hotel.

This was the perfect accommodation for our group of climbers to stay during our trip. The apartment was just what four people could need to get some sleep and rest, and the rooftop patio was excellent for hanging and even doing some work. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, and offered help with washing laundry and any other questions that we had. Would definitely stay here again if traveling with a friend group of 3-4 people who just need a place to sleep, eat, shower and hang out! Getting the car parked near the apartment was easy, and the crags are just a quick drive away, but the neighbourhood is more quiet than Masouri.

I was on a climbing holiday and it was much more peaceful than Masouri, if that is what you like. Meeting friends in Masouri in the evening was awkward because of travel and drink driving. However, I did drink less as a result and probably felt better.

good restaurants, good bus service, helpful people, close to beach, good walking area. superb scenery, good centre for visiting other areas of the island. Panormos is sometimes spoilt by noisy motorbikes/ scooters in early hours and of course the area suffers from exaust pollution. The area is renowned for climbers, if that is your choice, swimming is safe in main beaches on the island. Walkers are well catered for on the many paths on the hills.

Kantouni Beach is the Panormos town beach.
Kantouni Beach is the Panormos town beach. It is peopled but never crowded. Families from France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece, the UK, etc. return there each year. The sand is dark because it's of volcanic origin, and steady wind and waves stir up the bottom so the water is not as clear as at other beaches. There is a municipal bus that goes directly from Kalymnos harbor to Kantouni Beach. It's slow and usually late but it's cheap. There are taxis as well.

From the moment I got out of the taxi and walking in the entrance, I was amazed!!. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The rooms are amazing and the food is probably the best on the island. This hotel really elevated the islands charm. Also in a great location, which makes it easy to get around. P.S The pool is amazing to relax or swim. Thank you and will see you again soon.
Unexpectedly clean, perfectly located within few steps from almost private beautiful hidden beach with a tiny beach bar. 1,5 km walk from the Kantouni beach and Domus beach bar. All rooms were recently (2020) renovated and refurbished. Extremely friendly and helpful owners. Perfect for a weekend escape or a long term accommodation. We are already planking our next vacation here.
We had our wedding here in Kalymnos and Kantouni beach was absolutely breathtaking! We didn’t want to leave Katerina and the team are brilliant! She made everything so easy and went the extra mile for us.

For my parents-in-law I was looking for a place to stay in Panormos / Linaria. Irene Studios was chosen because of its small size and good location.
Good room, balcony with shade, nice view and close to the supermarket. Clean towels every day. Everything very clean and tidy.
Georgeous and Irene are very friendly and hospitable.
An ideal place for a holiday in Kantouni.
The breakfast was the right mix of Greek and other cultures and was outstanding. The service was way above average in all areas of the hotel; incredibly friendly people. The location was secluded with stunning views and direct access to the beach. And the room/accommodations are very spacious, well laid out with everything you need inside.
The room was clean, tidy and comfortable for two people while the hostess (Mrs Evdokia) was very helpful and nice to us. She came to pick us up from the port on the day of our arrival and dropped us to the port when we had to leave free of charge. The location is great as it’s close to supermarket, great restaurants and the Kantouni beach.
Fantastic location within Kantouni with fabulous sea views and sunset from the large terrace. Evi was a wonderful host of this friendly family owned apartment. A quiet location, but within a very easy stroll to the restaurants and wonderful unspoilt beach of Kantouni. Supermarkets and bus stops close by. We would definitely stay again.
the hotel's location was perfect. It has taken 5mn to the beach by car, close to the port. It was possible to arrive at the hotel by local transport too. there was 3 restaurants (one of them was horrible), 1 mini market(buffe), 1 pharmacy, 1 Cafe, 1 toys shop, 2 gas stations near by hotel and 1 car rental office under it.
The team of Mrs Katerina and Mr Stavros was very attentive to every request, diligent and extremely helpful ;

A very nice location with a view of the sea (close to Kantouni Beach). Beautiful spacious common terrace with fully equipped outdoor kitchen, barbecue etc. Evi is very nice, hospitable, friendly and willing to help in finding out information about, for example, transport.
The property is truly a 5 star hotel. It is beautifully maintained. A very serene environment. Immaculately cleaned. Staff is welcoming and accommodating. Nicest place to stay in the island and excellent value. Forget to mention delicious breakfast buffet.
It was a pleasure to revisit Katouni Boutique Hotel- the new owners turned into a fresh, moderns and perfect oasis of relaxation- the staff, especially Katerina, from reception- was amazing, she is an absolutely delight !
The hotel facility was situate on the ocean with an amazing view. The hotel and its rooms have a very modern look and amenities. The rooftop restaurant is also very inviting. Staff were friendly and accomodating.
This was honestly one of the best hotels we've ever been to. The personal touch, the beautiful and clean facilities, the almost private beach and wonderful breakfast can't be compared. Highly, highly recommended!
